The first console I played was a PS1, but I only played Crash, then I had the PS2 and that's where I met Rayman, thanks to his third installment, he was the first to play.
Super Mario Bros. is one of the best games ever made, I can't believe someone could have never played Nintendo's, there's some really fun exclusives there especially from the past.

The first Rayman game that plays, but I had heard of it before.
The DS is an obvious choice for me. There is a lot of really good games, more than I could ever count. The fact that pratically every kid had a DS was amazing, you could just have met someone and ask "wanna play some Mario Kart?", and you could go up to 8 people, play online, on a handled console! It truly was revolutionary. Plus the double screen made it feel truly special.
My gosh looking back at this thread and seeing all the replies about the Switch made me realise that it's like almost a decade now since it was released.

My favorites haven't changed. GC/Wii for favorite console, and DS/GBA for handheld. I play a mixture of old and newer games, though my preference is still towards older games.
