Re: The You Game!
< likes South Park and Rick & Morty but < knows not everyone will like them. Some might find them rude but < seriously just finds them hilarious

Re: The You Game!
< definitely has heard of both but < hardly knows much about them, so < will definitely be watching a few episodes of each. < doesn't judge them until < watches them.
Though < remembers watching South Park rarely and it was cool, though if ^ described an episode to <, < wouldn't know anything about it since < only watched a little of 1-2 episodes.

Re: The You Game!
< has finished <'s Mario Kart Wii run today. < feels like sleeping early though it's not likely to happen, but < wants to finish some things before then, like watching Tv shows and anime.
< will get <'s materials tomorrow from the recruiter, so < will be busy tomorrow too.

Re: The You Game!
Here's the trailer if ^ managed to not see it yet: < guesses <'ll give the games a shot, <'s a fan of beat 'em up games, so why not.Steo wrote: Holy crap really!? < had heard nothing about this but < is really interested now
< loves Streets Of Rage 1, it's an absolute gem of a game. Streets Of Rage 2 has some improvements and stuff and is also a good game, though personally < enjoys the first one more. The replay ability is a main factor here.
< isn't a huge fan of the third one. The third one is a good game but < doesn't think it's as enjoyable to < as the first two personally. < even loves the music in the first 2 games, just really catchy stuff from the early 90's
Streets Of Rage 1 is even a childhood memory to <, it's such a good game and <'s favourite title on Sega Mega Drive
Re: The You Game!
If ^ plays it, < advises that if an enemy throws you to hold up and keep tapping the C button. That way the player will land on his feet instead of hitting the ground and losing health. That's probably one of the best tricks about the game that people don't usually know

Re: The You Game!
< stayed up until 8 in the morning last night making a Game Boy version of Flappy Bird in C
Re: The You Game!
< remembers that game alright. < even still has it in <'s download history
A Game Boy version of it looks cool tbh, I like that retro pixel look of older games

< likes what ^^’s come up with, great job Ambi!
< is suffering from a headache right now for unknown reasons, and this time < just getting up is not the cause. < wonders if <‘s hypertension is acting up again.

< thinks the reason is because ^'s head hurts
Nah < hopes ^ gets better soon, headaches aren't a nice thing.

Re: The You Game!
Well, <'s day is getting better and better. Now <'s Windows8.1 laptop is not charging properly so now < has to be stuck using <'s shitty Win10 laptop since <'s laptop is close to dead. What a great day < is having.
Oh well better than nothing < guess. < will just have to fiddle with <'s laptop to shut off all privacy searching and start experiment with Linux on this laptop like < planned to eventually.
Edit: nvm, it was just the stupid battery acting up again.
On the bright side is happy to hear words like the ones ^ used from the younger generation.
Gives < hope for them.

Re: The You Game!
< thinks its cool that younger people actually enjoy retro games too. < always loved retro stuff, including 80's stuff from before <'s time
Re: The You Game!
< says that's good to know, thanks ^!Steo wrote:If ^ plays it, < advises that if an enemy throws you to hold up and keep tapping the C button. Re: The You Game!
< says that's in the first game, in the second (and < thinks third too) you just need to hold up and C. in the first game it won't register unless C is tapped on ground impact so < usually just repeatedly taps it
But yeah < looks forward to this new one as < loves Streets Of Rage. The 3 games were released in 1991 (3 months before < was even born), 1992 and 1994, so it's been 24 years and yeah < is excited about it now

Re: The You Game!
< remembers that Sega announced not too long ago that they're planning to bring back a lot of their old ips, so ^ should expect to see more old stuff coming back from them.
Re: The You Game!
Oh, nice! Does ^ knows if there are going to be any more retro style Sonic games like Sonic Mania?
Re: The You Game!
< has no idea about anything like that being in the works, but < would love to see the development team of Sonic Mania do something in the style of the Sonic Advance games.
Re: The You Game!
Nice ^, < always loved the Sega Mega Drive (Genesis), it was <'s first real childhood console apart from a cheap Chinese NES clone. < remembers other titles like Comix Zone, Golden Axe etc. There's so many good games for it. < was playing Sega Mega Drive Ultimate Collection and played a game called Ristar (from the creators of Sonic) and it's actually quite good too, so there's even good games for it < still hasn't played

Re: The You Game!
< would like to see that too ^^. If < remembers correctly, Sonic Advance was probably one of the earliest games of Sonic that < played (second to Sonic 2, < couldn't get to play Sonic 1 til < was 14-15). Has a lot of memories for me, like how < was at first unable to get past the rocket zone (< forgot the name already lol).
< recalls ^ mentioning that once, though < doesn't remember if < asked ^ how it was. Out of all the games in <'s Sonic Mega Collection in <'s real GC, Ristar is probably one of the few games on it that < hasn't played on it as of yet.Steo wrote:Nice ^, < always loved the Sega Mega Drive (Genesis), it was <'s first real childhood console apart from a cheap Chinese NES clone. < remembers other titles like Comix Zone, Golden Axe etc. There's so many good games for it. < was playing Sega Mega Drive Ultimate Collection and played a game called Ristar (from the creators of Sonic) and it's actually quite good too, so there's even good games for it < still hasn't played
