Re: Rayman M-Arena
Speaking of Rayman M, can anyone help me with this problem? So a few months ago I got a brand new copy of Rayman M (no scratches) and for some reason, I can play every race and battle location in the game except for one race location where it seems to lag constantly and then freeze all of a sudden! It happens every time I try to load it! By the way, the location where I'm having the problem is Dark Sewer.

Re: Rayman M-Arena
Question: Wasnt Rayman M on uplay or GOG? i swear it once was
Re: Rayman M-Arena
Afaik it wasn't. At least I've never found it anywhere. It's on Evolve, maybe that's why you thought it was on somewhere.
Re: Rayman M-Arena
I never saw Rayman M on GOG nor Uplay, so I doubt it, though I have never searched for it in GOG nor Uplau so I don't know. I still doubt that there has ever been a GOG or Uplay version though.

All i finde are sketeboard shops
Re: Rayman M-Arena
It's a program which makes it easier to play lan games online with others, so that you don't need to be at the same place to do so. It's easier to use than hamachi and other programs, and it worked really good, there used to be a couple of us who played it online. It's not a shop though, you can't buy games there, sadly. You need to get the games from a different place.StelzenBomber wrote: Mon Oct 01, 2018 3:13 pmWhats evolve?raymanHUN wrote: Mon Oct 01, 2018 3:07 pm Afaik it wasn't. Edit: Whoops, stupid me, I forgot to mention that evolve is about to shut down, and they transfer ot to something like player.me... I don't know what it is, but I hope it won't become harder to use for online play

Re: Rayman M-Arena
This really should be on GOG. I mean, if RRR can be, why not RM?
Re: Rayman M-Arena
Well, good point since not only Rayman M isn't on GOG, but as far as I know, Rayman Legends isn't on GOG either! Wait, that's on Uplay though. I still agree with you though.
Re: Rayman M-Arena
Well, it would still be better if all Rayman games were available on GOG. They just works better on newer PCs than other versions.
Re: Rayman M-Arena
Rayman Legends is probably only Uplay because of the online challenges. There's a Steam version but that likely still uses Uplay also.
I wonder myself why M/Arena isn't on GoG considering all the older main series games are on it.

If rayman m came on uplay or GOG
i hope they will keep the online servers

Re: Rayman M-Arena
Well, there were no online servers tho, the only way to play online was to emulate a lan connection, which should still work

Re: Rayman M-Arena
Well considering the fact that Indiana Jones and the Infernal Machine has just been released on GoG like less than 24 hours ago, I'd say that there's still a healthy amount of chance left regarding the eventual appearance of Rayman M as well. That is, if enough people are expressing their interest of wanting it in the community section's "game wishlist".
While I do have a nostalgic boner for Rayman M for many well defined reasons I kindasorta really want to see Black & White 2 raising it's monstrous head in GoG's catalogue first and AFTER that came to pass, please do sign me up for Rayman M all the way.

Re: Rayman M-Arena
That's exactly it. If you buy the game on Steam you just get a key that you then need to tie to your Uplay account. Then to play the game you need both clients running.Steo wrote: Tue Oct 02, 2018 12:46 am Rayman Legends is probably only Uplay because of the online challenges. Re: Rayman M-Arena
Splinter Cell Blacklist is exactly the same. I own it on Steam and it makes me use both clients. It's kind of useless needing the 2 thoughPluMGMK wrote: Tue Oct 02, 2018 5:58 pm That's exactly it. Re: Rayman M-Arena
I didn't even know Steam makes you use both clients! Why would it though? That's weird.
Anyway, in that case the Uplay version definitely sounds like it's a lot more worth it than the Steam version, I mean, who would want to use 2 clients at once?
(I'm sorry if I sounded a bit unpleasant or anything like that, I didn't mean to, I just wanted to get this out there but I couldn't do it in a different way)

Re: Rayman M-Arena
Same for For Honor! I got it on steam while it was free, and first thing it did after I launched it is installed Uplay, and now I need both clients to play the game (not that I play it right now, but when I played)Steo wrote: Tue Oct 02, 2018 6:32 pmSplinter Cell Blacklist is exactly the same. Re: Rayman M-Arena
I never ended up completing the story so I actually plan on playing it again. It's not as good as the older Splinter Cell games imo, but I always loved the series.
Without me going too far off the point though, it is a bit silly that they make you use both clients for the games.

Re: Rayman M-Arena
Yeah, I don't understand that either why they make you do that but back to Rayman M, I think it actually would be a good idea for there to be a GOG version of the game, since I own the PS2 version and it's scratched and if there would be a digital version, I wouldn't have the problems I have now with the lagging and freezing.
