Globox also looks better in Origins than in Legends in my opinion.
I agree with that statement 100% and I even said it myself before
I also prefer the cartoon style of Origins and the original Origins levels to the remade ones but it's still cool that they remade them. You'll notice a lot of my sigs are the Origins style and none use the Legends style
Legends still looks good but I just always personally preferred the Origins style over it. I even remember saying "Is it weird that I prefer Origins artwork over Legends?" and it turns out you replied "No, it's your own preference/opinion".
I guess that's true though, it's a thing of preference.
I didn't know that they loaded instantly on PS4 and Xbox one, I haven't yet played those versions.
While trying to play Rayman Origins I ran into most of the same problems while trying to play Origins on Linux. I just thought it would work out since most games I played worked on Linux pretty well.

Yeah, and I also like that in Origins, the loading screens have like a wrinkled papery texture to them, that's also pretty cool and how they remade most of the Origins levels with the new Legends art style to them. I prefer the cartoony art style and overall art style of Origins though. Globox also looks better in Origins than in Legends in my opinion.
I have never played Legends but I've seen the character designs, I also prefer Origins in most cases. I like the loading screens too in fact, I often try different things whil I'm there lol
Well on my computer I only get about 4 seconds on the loading screen so all I'd do is run or spam the hit button and random directions until it loads.
Legends is an amazing game too, it's just a shame that people are clearly cheating on the challenges now to the stage where there's no chance of getting a Diamond Cup. At least when I played a few months ago it was at least possible on some challenges.
I find the running and jumping challenges the easiest to get a gold cup. They requires some tricky timing but it is posible. How do you "cheat" on the challenges? Besides hacking your way up the score board.
That's what I'm talking about. Getting a gold is fair enough but these are clearly modding the game to get ridiculous scores like that. They're seriously not even possible at this stage, so I just settled for 4 golds yesterday when I played on Xbox.
Origins is fun enough without the challenges though imo.
If you know what you are doing, it might be posible on some of the challenges to get some of them high scores, gamers can sometimes play for long periods of time and go great lenghs on games but at the same time people do hack games just to not put in the effort.

Wait, I thought Origins only had the time challenges where you can win speed trophies. Aren't you guys confusing Origins with Legends' challenges by chance?
I agree with that, the lack of the challenges is what makes Origins purely fun. From what I've gotten from the bits and pieces of info I learned from you guys on Legends, gettind Diamond cups for that 11th level is totally not worth it. I need to practice again on those speed trophies, my average seconds below is only 3-5 seconds lol.
It doesn't matter if it's 3 seconds or 30 seconds. Once you get the trophy, it doesn't matter.
That's also not what I meant, I mean that the lack of challenges doesn't actually matter because the game is fun enough without them and it doesn't need them. It's got replay ability by just being a fun game

Yeah I totally agree, it's really fun and at first I couldn't understand just how fun it is until now that I'm now recently playing it
Also, yeah, I don't think it needs more challenges because the time challenges are already enough and yeah, the game is just as fun without them (if we wouldn't count the time challenges)
Oogh, I picked up my 3DS version last night, yikes! The picture looked crappy, the FPS is lower to the point that cutscenes run so slowly to the point where sounds play where they should not be playing. There also seems to be a strange lack of both enemies and playable characters in this version also (not that that matters too much since I mostly main Rayman and Globox anyway). I can see now why it’s considered the worst version of this game. At least it’s still playable and it’s Origins, so I’ll still have fun playing this version.
Seriously though, anyone that played Origins on 3DS and now thinks Origins is a bad game, I highly recommend playing any other port of the game and you'll see how good it really is.
