Yeah I have Game Maker Studio 1.4 on Steam. I got it ages ago on a Humble Bundle. Basically you just import the chart and there's an option somewhere to make a grid where it will cut them into individual images for the sprite.

Hey Sr, I noticed that you been double posting frequently, I am guilty of this too, tho not as frequent, but it happens. Try to avoid double posting as best you can. If you want to say anything new the rule here is to edit your post and add new content to your last post on any thread. About what we were discusing, I don't know if Gimp is on Windows but it's a free program that can edit images and do what you are wanting with the Sprite Sheets but try GameMaker first.

Gimp is also on Linux, which is actually pretty cool.

Also I didn't mention the double posting myself because I don't want to appear "modish" since I'm not a staff member, just in case it bothers the staff/other members. I could've sent him a PM explaining it though (and should have).

I have teased a couple of users about multiposting and complained about post quality in the past, but that was impolite of me to say the least.

You need to go along the lower path. It's kind of hard if you're not used to it, but try maneuver through the gaps while using the helicopter as he's rising to avoid ending up on the higher level.

Basically there's a path of Tings and you have to follow them. The reason it's difficult is because you keep bouncing up to the higher level where you don't want to go. The Tings spelling NO mean wrong way.

xD It looks like it's hacked but it's not, it's in the official game.
There is this one part that use to drive me insane where you had to slide down a slop and make a jump. I found that the easiest way is to just walk (don't run) and just slide and let the sponge at the end do it's thing. It has been awhile since I played this stage, maybe you do have to run but try just walking through it first few times.

So I completed Picture City and now I'm at... that world. Oh my god, I can't beat this one part. It's the first level on The Caves of Skops. Oh boy, It's gonna be so much fun getting all of the electoons.

Well Crystal Palace is definitely much easier than Eat at Joe’s imo. At least you don’t have one stage in the dark and one stage where you have to ride on balloons and avoiding everything since the ruthless unforgiving knockback will kill you instantly in most areas. Iirc there are only 2 parts to that level.

Just don't give up and you'll get there. As I said, it's all just patterns and after you do it once, it will become so much easier the next time you play it ;)

Yeah same, I really love this game! Without this game, none of the other games may have existed/turned out in the same fashion and RPC wouldn't exist. Despite all the seemingly difficult challenges in this game, it still remains as one of my most favorite games to play out of all the games I've played. After all this game was what got me started on this series. And a lot of the members here. :hap:

People who have trouble on this game just need to keep trying. This game requires a lot of patience and precise platforming, so naturally it will appear hard to a first-timer. Once you get used to it it's like second nature. These days I actually find Origins harder than Rayman 1 these days.

Because of the nature of Origins, I get killed far more often in that than Rayman 1. The unlimited lives and checkpoints make getting killed no big deal.

Same, I got killed so often before that I even got the "Yikes, this place is really dangerous! Do you want to STAY here?" message. It's really fun though yeah, it can get frustrating at times though that's just normal since it's only natural for that to happen every now and then when you're playing a game. I love Sea of Serendipity even though I get frustrated even in that world.

I really love everything about the game myself. Anyone that played Rayman Origins and Rayman 1 will likely agree with me that you die more times in Origins than in Rayman 1, but that Origins is still an easier game that Rayman 1.

I hate that "STAY here" message. So cheeky… What business is it of Murfy's how difficult I'm finding the level??

Of course they had something similar in Rayman Junior, which was the first game I played. If you ever lost all your lives you'd be booted back to the world map, where the Magician would have some supposedly-encouraging phrase, of which I guess the most similar to that Murfy one was "Ouch! That hurts, doesn't it? Well, don't let Mister Dark get the better of you!"

Is there a way to disable those in Origins? When those first showed up I found them a little bothersome. I'm no quitter, I'm not leaving a level just cuz I failed multiple times.
