Re: The You Game!
< can't believe PluM didn't alert those poor people that they were being poisoned by the Illuminati with chemtrails.
Re: The You Game!
< is debating whether to keep this phone when the contract expires in 5 months, get another one on bill pay or just buy any cheap half decent one that works. Between the camera that doesn't work and the WiFi dropping out, < just wants one that works properly. < is even considering buying the S7 from CeX even though it's older, just because it's a good price, but < doesn't want to pawn this one off on someone while it has the camera issue

Re: The You Game!
< knows that it's best to pay the phone upfront and get a simple contract here, but that might not be the case where ^ lives.
Re: The You Game!
< done the maths and the entire bill only worked out about €150 extra over the course of 2 years compared to the price of buying the phone up front and topping up each month.
That's why < bought it, but the difference is that on bill you have to actually keep paying it, where if you had bought the phone up front, you could go without topping up and just have no credit for a while if you wanted to. Buying the phone up front gives you freedom

Re: The You Game!
It feels dumb for < to say something like this, but < has decided to remove <'s hidden status. After thinking about it and having a chat with ^^ about it, < realises that even though < was "hidden", <'s IP address can technically be seen to the mods/admins along with certain people, so in a way < isn't really hidden anyway. < knows that it was <'s first time on forums so < was probably much more wacked than < normally was when meeting new people, but looking back on it now even though < finds it funny, it still wasn't really acceptable for a 26-yr old like <self to behave in that fashion and be obsessed about everything on the forum, even though ^^ was probably acting (being a mad eejit) the same way also at some point.
Re: The You Game!
< was a bit mad for a month when < was only new to RPC and then < realised that < is nearly 27 and should be acting like it. < knows it's fun to act a little silly as a joke at times but it has to be very moderately or it has "undesired effects" so to say.
Re: The You Game!
< Says that there is no harm in a joke. But there many types of jokes that are appropriate and inappropriate. Take note of that.
But otherwise, the person who can't take a joke is a clown that frown.
< has finished <'s work in a really good time.

Re: The You Game!
< agrees, there are definitely good and bad jokes out there. < thinks that anyone who can't take a joke is really missing out on something good in life.
< is starting to notice that there is a difference between naiveness and flat-out stupidity.

Re: The You Game!
If < ever jokes when it seems inappropriate, that's just because < thinks it would lighten the mood. There's an obvious limit though that < understands.
< is just sick that < had to buy a motherboard just for pressing a button too hard. Let this be a lesson people, don't push others buttons

Re: The You Game!
< is finding it quite interesting how the activity has spiked in regards to how many people are viewing the forum (< suspects they are people who are looking him up due to the day he appears in Brawlhalla coming closer), yet not a lot of people, old and new, are signing up/signing in to the forum. < knows that < has no business to whatever the heck they're doing, but < has heard some people < knows say that Rayman and the community in general, not just this forum, is dead, and hearing that really pisses me off since < thinks that it's because people who think that way, so negative and pessimistic, is the reason the Rayman community is 'dying'. What makes < even more sad is that a few of these people are Rayman fans too.
Re: The You Game!
< noticed the rise in guest count lately too, but < has no idea what "some people" mean. Just because people aren't posting like lunatics 24/7 doesn't mean the forum is dead, just a little quiet for the time being is all. The type of people that would say the forum is dead are the type of people that don't visit meaning they aren't helping the "supposed" cause.
Some members likely just have things to do and likely don't have time to visit frequently and lot of them just have nothing to talk about without some Rayman news. Also, Rayman is not dead! Aside from the amazing games that are already out there, Ancel has even said that he'll be working on Rayman again after BG&E2.
< is looking forward to Brawlhalla and hopes that gets a rise in activity here too

Re: The You Game!
< knows that ^'s right, < was feeling a bit frustrated about it a moment ago and needed to vent a little. Rayman and the community is most definitely not dead, but that doesn't mean there hasn't been any more news or games about Rayman lately. < can't wait for the day Brawlhalla, and the new Rayman game Ancel has spoken of, comes.
< is going to bed now so < can start fresh tomorrow working on more stuff < needs to do for <'s computer. Night RPC.

Re: The You Game!
Yeah and <'s birthday can't possibly be crap if < gets Rayman in Brawlhalla for it
< was moving boxes of stuff from one shed to the other and it really took it out of <. <'s back isn't quite what it used to be

Re: The You Game!
< is quite pleased that < now has both i3 and sway running on <'s system. < has them share a config file via symlinking, and uses some wrapper scripts to handle the minor differences between them (i.e. between X and Wayland).

Re: The You Game!
< has a lot of post to look forward to again, mainly laptop parts and the last copy of Origins < didn't own.
<'s dogs will be going crazy later over the fireworks and one of them is usually terrified of the noise.

How many dogs does ^ have? (out of curiosity)Steo wrote: Wed Oct 31, 2018 3:18 pm < has a lot of post to look forward to again, mainly laptop parts and the last copy of Origins < didn't own.

Also, our cat died a year ago, he (or she?) was named Brush because she was black and his (or her) feet was white. Anyway, that's not what matters, what < wanted to say is that now we have a new cat which is grey.
Re: The You Game!
<'s family have 2 house dogs and also 4 in the back garden. One of the house dogs is terrified of fireworks so he's in for a rough night.

Re: The You Game!
< is working on some RayWiki issues.
Re: The You Game!
< put a new motherboard and keyboard in <'s mothers laptop today and got the spare 2600K CPU for the extra PC. < only got the heatsink for <'s laptop today though and not the motherboard or CPU yet. < hopes they will arrive on Monday
< also received the copy of Rayman Origins for Wii which now completes <'s main series collection on every platform
