What are your thoughts on the 30th Anniversary Edition of Rayman 1?

I love it, it's exactly what I expected!

I love it, but I think the price is a bit excessive for what it is.

It's fine, although I'm not entirely convinced by the soundtrack.

It's okay, although I wouldn't have included the accessibility options (infinite lives, etc.).

I expected more from Ubisoft. They should have made some improvements, just like the fans did with Rayman Redemption.

Okay, I've started the Hoodlum one. I hope nobody minds that I simply copied the list from the English wiki here.

Taking a cue from the off-topic one (which I/we should really look at again), polls will now run for seven days, and results will be posted as screenshots. Thus:

This is the first time ever that I have successfully got a suggestion to be made into an actual poll! Nice! :)

Btw my favorite hoodlum is the Hoodoo, I just love his theme and his design! :)

It was a decent suggestion though :)

I'm going with the Hoodoo because I like the music when you have to fight one and there are also some combos that can yield a great score which contains them, such as DOTK part 7 with 2 green gems :hap:

Yeah, it's a pretty nice suggestion. :)

For me, I like the Hoodboom. I like their design and the way their face looks is pretty hilarious to me. Plus, they're one of the easier Hoodlums to hit from what I've seen since they don't try to dodge your attacks or deflect all of them (when you shoot straight shots)

If I had to choose one I hate the most then it's a Hoodstormer. The amount of restarts I had to go through thanks to Hoodstormers is unbelievable because they're so random at times and fly all over the place.

Thank you too. :)

Also, I chose Hoodoo because I just love their theme and design! :)

Also Steo, I agree with you, the Hoodstormers are a pain in the arse and the most annoying thing about them is when you lock onto them and they still somehow manage to dodge your attacks!

Should the next poll be least favourite Hoodlum then? :P

That could work, we already have 2 votes for Hoodstormers

The fact that curved shots can miss them actually really annoys me because I end up having to restart over things like that multiple times.

Make that 3, for the same reasons as you guys.

Even charged shots miss them sometimes, and they sometimes appear in mulitples too, and I've had them accidentally kill each other too, which is very frustrating.
This is just a theory I have, but I think that coming in close and hitting them with straight shots actually is easier than trying to shoot from far away. It's risky, I know. I think I'll give Rayman 3 a go later and try again to see if this theory actually works.

For enemies killing each other though, the Hoodoo on TOTL part 1 is actually pretty annoying for that. If the Hoodlums don't shoot each other then they usually run into the Hoodoo

You talking about the barrier the Hoodoo puts up around that one hoodlum? When I first realised that barrier can kill Hoodlums (it killed one), I was thrown aback since I had done nothing to it. And then it killed the other one the same way and I knew then.

I noticed it straight away and then it just kept happening to me. I had to restart that section about 100 times until I finally managed to get over 20k in that first area.

Ah well, this happens. I think we should be happy there's at least activity on the polls. :)

My point from earlier still stands for me, I still can't stand those Hoodstormers.

Aside from the points mentioned above, I must also mention that they take more hits (I think 5-6) before they go down, and coupled with their amazing ability to dodge hits is pretty annoying.

WOW, it has been a while Since I been involved in this Rayman poll thread.
Least favourite hoodlum, right?

For me, it is the Lavomatrix twins.
Are their attacks actually harder to avoid than the hoodstormer's?
I find the range and arcs of their "plasma blasts"(not the bubble attack) to be a bit unpredictable.

Oh yeah, the Lavomatrix twins are also pretty annoying. (I wish I could vote for 2 or more options so I could choose them as well as the Hoodstormers)

The Lavomatrix twins are great at sucking your health and the Hoodstormers are great at dodging your attacks even if you lock onto them making them both annoying, especially the Hoodstormers.

Oh yeah, those can be annoying too. I actually never even bothered trying to combo both of them on any level due to how annoying they can be :P

Is it even possible to even combo Lavomatrixes? I've never tried myself either, they always took a lot of hits to go down so I always assumed that the combo meter would run out long before I took down the other one. Their attacks are pretty difficult to avoid. Especially since they usually counterattack you when you hit them. THey may not be as prone to dodging attacks as Hoodstormers but Lavomatrixes are just as annoying.
