Re: The Teensies' General Knowledge Quiz – Season Five (Pirez)
Yeah, I thought I'd refrain from mentioning that one here.
Regarding the question, Otto von Bismarck and Adolf Hitler?
Re: The Teensies' General Knowledge Quiz – Season Five (Pirez)
Was expecting the first, not the second.

Re: The Teensies' General Knowledge Quiz – Season Five (Pirez)
Well I can think of France, Switzerland, Italy, Austria. I would think Germany, Slovenia and Liechtenstein must count too, so that's seven here.
Re: The Teensies' General Knowledge Quiz – Season Five (Pirez)
Unfortunately, one is missing. You shall get the point in 24h unless someone nabs it for you.
Re: The Teensies' General Knowledge Quiz – Season Five (Pirez)
Is it Croatia, France, Switzerland, Italy, Austria, Germany, Slovenia and Liechtenstein?

Re: The Teensies' General Knowledge Quiz – Season Five (Pirez)
I would think it's only the Dinaric Alps in Croatia.
Re: The Teensies' General Knowledge Quiz – Season Five (Pirez)
It is not Croatia, but rather Monaco, which Wikipedia states as country and Wikipedia is never wrong.
Either way, you get the point Hunch

Re: The Teensies' General Knowledge Quiz – Season Five (Pirez)
How come Humch is in the scoreboard twice and Ray is there thrice?
As for the question, I have no idea, so I'll just guess he invented modern notation.

Looks like my two points are there but separately.PluMGMK wrote: Tue Oct 30, 2018 8:14 pm How come Humch is in the scoreboard twice and Ray is there thrice?
Re: The Teensies' General Knowledge Quiz – Season Five (Pirez)
It's about goddamn time somebody noticed. I originally didn't notice myself that Ray was on the list twice but when I got that the mistake was done three questions prior and that nodoby noticed I decided to turn it into a feature.PluMGMK wrote: Tue Oct 30, 2018 8:14 pmHow come Humch is in the scoreboard twice and Ray is there thrice?
As for your answer to the question, I'm afraid it's not it but I'm going to let you try again with a hint : Try to picture today's money-making music and the money-making music of the 1500s and see if you can find the major difference.

Re: The Teensies' General Knowledge Quiz – Season Five (Pirez)
He was the first patron of music?
Re: The Teensies' General Knowledge Quiz – Season Five (Pirez)
I'm afraid not. And since nobody else wants to at least try, I'll just drop the answer and move on.
Josquin Des Prés is the first to mix pagan and sacred music together, i.e. he is the first to blend instrument with voices. Before that, it was either choir or instrumental.
Question 7b : In mid-august of this year a highway bridge collapsed, killing 43. In what developped country did this happen?
