< just did the math and discovered < has been spending about 66% of <'s day watching TV on average. Wow.

< also watches a lot of TV lately while < isn't playing games and < probably also spends a crazy amount of time doing so without realising.

< was reading back over <'s earlier posts and it's making < feel a little nostalgic. < loved the atmosphere we had here back in March when < was still a fairly new member :hap:

< wonders if there are people who have actually read the GPL in full?

If < is being honest, then < never did read it or ever read through all the T&C's of something. The only time < ever did read right through something like that is if < had to sign a contract or something. < wouldn't go reading the entire T&C's every time < installed some software. Having said that, the GNU GPL isn't just a list of terms that limit your usage :P

< remembers attempting to read the GPL at the very beginning of 2012. < isn't sure whether or not < got all the way through it.

The IDE HDD in <'s PS2 seems to be dying and doesn't always spin up, so < may have to do what < said in the Teensie thread and buy an IDE HDD in 2018 for it
To be honest, < is better off just getting the SATA version of the network adapter instead.

< has noticed that the prices of SATA SSD's have come down quite low nowadays to the stage where they're probably starting to be worth using instead of HDD's. At this stage, a 480GB SSD is around €60 to buy on Amazon.

Of course < already has an NVMe SSD, but < also has a 2TB HDD in <'s computer still for keeping data on. If the prices keep dropping like that then a SATA 1TB SSD might be around the corner for < to use as storage instead :P

< is quite interested in the prospect of a ≥1TB SSD, but they're not quite in a reasonable price range yet.

< heard "Trick of the Light" on the radio this morning. < remembers being sick of hearing it back in July/August. < doesn't mind it anymore, but still finds it really weird.

The price range is still a little high on those larger ones yeah, but the prices are getting lower and we can only hope they become reasonable. We might even be at the stage where they could go on a decent sale in January perhaps?

< remembers having that song stuck in <'s head back then too for some odd reason and sharing it in the music thread

< recently learned the word "atone" comes from the phrase "at one", as in you're at one with/have come to terms with a mistake you've made.
Who'd have guessed...

< didn't know about the "at one" thing either. < would use it as make up/make amends. The context < would use it in would be something like < apologised to atone for unintentionally acting out here that time over another issue :hap:

< sees that Steo has a quote collection like PluMGMK's.
< had a chance to watch <'s friends playing Mario Kart Wii in the computer lab today.

Haha, < wishes < could have had that kind of privilege in school

< wonders how ^'s been actually?

< is going to add more quotes to it, though <'s is just image rotation for now, where Plum's is more sophisticated and the quotes have hyperlinks that actually lead to the original posts. < isn't sure how to do that or whether rotating text externally is possible since the new update on the forum added quote ID's anyway.

< would ask Plum how to do it but < doesn't want to keep bothering him while he has his own things to do. < assumes that < needs a server to host a CGI script for a start to do it like Plum did.

< is actually fine, frankly enough.
As it gets closer to December and <'s birthday, < is enjoying the time as much as < can.
Despite being at a new school, < noticed that <'s original school had sent a letter to < as an invitation to pick up a prize/prizes at their prize giving Ceremony. < finds that Amazing. :hap:

< has a few things to do today and laundry to fold and put away.

< thinks it's nice to hear that ^ is keeping well and hopes ^ has settled in nicely at the new school :)

<'s PS2 motherboard hasn't left the states yet unfortunately as < patiently waits for it to get arrive. Maybe it will be here before Christmas

Ditto to what ^ said about ^^ and ^^'s school life. :)

< sees that ^ has finished ^'s rotating quotes. Which reminds <, yesterday ^ gave < a great and interesting idea for putting rotating songs in <'s sig that < hadn't thought of, so < will be experimenting with <'s sig sometime today. Hope it works. :D

<'s 8mb official Sony PS2 memory card was bought today (a red one, just like <'s official PS1 one) and < and <'s dad only has to wait until the seller gives his/her account number so <'s dad can give the required money to the seller so that the seller ships it so that < can get it which would mean that < would finally be able to play Burnout 3 again! :D

What ^^ is trying to do will only work if you can use a script to rotate actual text. In <'s case, <'s are just rotating images and Plum's are also rotating images but with hyperlinks attached. < assumes you could use links pointing to the songs on RayTunes, but it depends on whether you really want to go through the effort. Aside from that though, the clickable link instead of RayTunes BBcode definitely makes more sense as it only takes up 1 line in your sig and doesn't need to load the song each time the page is refreshed as it's only a link.

< says hooray for ^ though, ^ has been waiting a very long time to actually get that card and play Burnout again, but at least ^ will be able to play it again soon :)

Oh, <'s into Burnout as well? Nice! What Burnout games does ^ have? :)
