The same thing happened with Rayman 2 iOS, but a bunch of Android SJWs considered it was racism towards androids to not port the game on this mobile platform and complained a lot, so Ubisoft then decided that nobody should have the game.

When Revolution was made, the devs thought "why not take a step backwards here", so they removed the widescreen feature, forcing you to play in 4:3. They also forced PAL users to play at 50Hz so it would stay true to their original standard. The Dreamcast didn't need 16:9 or 60Hz for PAL users anyway because nobody used it.

Because the developers of the PS1 discovered a PS2 version would be made, they decided to make the PS1 game so different by reducing the quality of graphics and altering aspects of the game like the lum count, the 1000th lum, and cutting Murfy out in order to prove to Ubisoft that their version is the best version of Rayman 2 and there was no need to make a PS2 version.

The air bubbles in Rayman Revolution are really blue lums in disguise, but they wanted to be much more important to Rayman than just flashing lights so they asked Ly to put a spell on Rayman (via the silver lum she gives him) so he would see air bubbles instead of blue lums, amplifying their usefulness.

I'm sorry, but this theory is completely false! The idea for the air bubbles was actually taken from Sonic The Hedgehog because the devs lost the textures for the blue Lum while they were in the process of designing Revolution. This in turn is why Sega never made another console after the Dreamcast ever again as they lost the court case against Ubisoft.

Ubisoft already knew the Dreamcast wouldn't sell well, so they released one of the best versions on Rayman 2 only on this platform to troll the players of other consoles.

They knew that along with the above, the addition of Globox Village would make all the other console and PC players jealous. Ubisoft actually had taken a partnership with Sega for this stunt, knowing that some Rayman fans would go buy a Dreamcast just for Rayman 2 along with a copy of the game.

The real reason Tily replaced Ly in Rayman M/Rush/Arena was because the writers made an error in development and made a spelling error by accidentally put "Tily" instead of "Ly", and because the game was too far in development, they decided to make a new fairy creature, except one developer was thinking of his dog and how beautiful he would look as a fairy and added some changes to this new fairy, which resulted in the abomination known as Tily.

Rayman 2 wasn't released for Sega Saturn because the Sega was just too powerful and would've ran too fast compared to the PS1. You can even see it's amazing power in action when Rayman crawls at 45° angles. Only the Sega was powerful enough to manage this and it would be just too much for our human eyes to see Rayman 2 on such powerful hardware.

It was so powerful than the whole Rayman series were intended to be on Saturn, but mortals wouldn't have been capable to play the far too beautiful sequels on the almighty Saturn so they scrapped the idea.

Rayman Revolution would have even ran at 60fps on Saturn and had no glitches whatsoever, but again as mentioned above, it was too much for out mere mortal eyes to feast upon that glory.

Just like Bubsy 4D which was planned to be released in a crossover with Rayman 3D on this platform, it would have been so good and powerful that it would have blown up the entire universe.

That's true! Then Rayman 4 was also planned for release on the Saturn but for those same mentioned reasons, Rayman 4 was cancelled and deleted from existence.

Tily is actually the main villain of the Rayman series : she was Mr. Dark in disguise, she attracted the Pirates by sending a signal around the Glade of Dreams, she also cursed Rayman's hands to go scare Red Lums and turn them into Black Lums, she created the Raving Rabbids, and she is the one who originally gave nightmares to Polokus ! And worst of all : she took Ly's place in Rayman M/Arena ! She is the most despicable and hideous kind of evil, and must be stopped at all costs !

Dark Rayman is actually Mr. Dark's son. This is why he has the name Dark Rayman. He idolises Bad Rayman which is why he mimics his actions in Rayman Legends.

And Dark Rayman's mother was the girl saw in the Rayman Origins PS Vita cutscene about Rayman's hair, thus explaining why he look like Rayman.

Another thing to add to the Saturn theory is how it was so powerful that it Sega couldn't actually make the Dreamcast any more powerful. This is why it didn't do too well and is also another reason why Rayman 2 was made to be so amazing on the console as an attempt to try make it look more powerful. It's also partially the reason as to why the Saturn didn't have Rayman 2, as people would have seen it achieve a higher FPS on Saturn and never bought a Dreamcast.

It is so powerful that even a full remake of Rayman Legends was intended to be released on Saturn, but even nowadays, the Saturn has too much power for even the gods themselves, attempting any further to port the game on this console would have caused a rift in space and time which would have caused all of the solar system to blow up, only the planet Saturn would have remained and would have turned into a giant black hole which would have devoured the whole universe.

Globox had acid reflux too, though he conquered it, turned it into an ability and has the power to control it as he pleases. This is the reason why he can store objects such as silver Lums and regurgitate them whenever it's necessary.

Rayman Legends has the best plot in the entire franchise. Though nothing can ever surpass the bonus cutscenes from the PS Vita version of Rayman Origins.
