You have time to combo the ones on TOTL if you combo the second one with the pigs, but it's still not easy to do it at all.

This is a dark day in the history of aviation!
Now let's stir up an old hornet's mosquito's nest!
Re: The Awesome and Cool Rayman Poll Thread
I'm going with "No, he does not appear in Rayman 1, and Revolution is not canon."
To be fair he didn't have the name Bzzit until Revolution came out and gave it to him, so even though we refer to him as Bzzit even in Rayman 1 (because of Revolution), he's basically just Moskito. Then there's also the fact that I prefer the original concept of Rayman 2 personally. I favour the Dreamcast since it's basically the same as the original though I do prefer the Isle Of Doors.

Re: The Awesome and Cool Rayman Poll Thread
I'm quite happy with this result, but not with the turnout.
If only more people had voted, we might have a real case for re-examining how the information is presented over at the wiki!
Now here's another controversial one.
Re: The Awesome and Cool Rayman Poll Thread
I've always known him as Bad Rayman so that's my choice. A lot of people seem to confuse Raymesis as a nemesis (I guess it's the name) while he's actually a playable character with a good alignment status, not a villain.
Some of the invaded stages in Rayman Legends have Dark Rayman and I think this is where most of the confusion comes from, considering his actions are very similar to those of Bad Rayman. That and probably the Rayman Arena Dark Rayman character which is also playable. Then there's also Shadow Ray who again is playable

What does canon and not canon mean by the way? A lot of people use that word when they're talking about games and I never understood what that meant.PluMGMK wrote: Sun Nov 25, 2018 4:49 pm I'm quite happy with this result, but not with the turnout. If only more people had voted, we might have a real case for re-examining how the information is presented over at the wiki!screenshot-1543160682.png

Re: The Awesome and Cool Rayman Poll Thread
The way I use it is to say that the story fits in with the original story, meaning the 2 stories merge together perfectly into one bigger story. If the stories don't fit together, then it's not canon.
It's like you're making a jigsaw, the Revolution piece just doesn't fit the puzzle.

Yeah, it's kind of like that. I'd recommend taking a look at Wikipedia too!

Ah come on people! There was at least 4 of us posting here for the majority of the day, yet there's only 3 votes so far.

Re: The Awesome and Cool Rayman Poll Thread
Sorry bro, I forgot to put my input!

Anyways, I haven't played Legends yet so this one's a bit of a no brainer for me. Bad Rayman is how I've always known his evil twin through the times I've played Rayman 1 and its spin-offs with emulators months ago, so that's what I'm going with.

Re: The Awesome and Cool Rayman Poll Thread
It's not really about Legends anyway, it's about Rayman 1 and it's spinoffs which you have played. I think you've made the right choice
Re: The Awesome and Cool Rayman Poll Thread
Dark Rayman is cooler imo.
Re: The Awesome and Cool Rayman Poll Thread
It's nice to see that the vote count has doubled since yesterday
Re: The Awesome and Cool Rayman Poll Thread
I liked Bad Rayman a lot When I was younger. He was like one of my fantasies. I even wished for a MOD to play as him exist. And there is....

Re: The Awesome and Cool Rayman Poll Thread
I used to find Bad Rayman intimidating because I used to struggle in getting around him when I was cornered, and especially near the end of the level he appeared in. Now these days I find him more cute than creepy.
Re: The Awesome and Cool Rayman Poll Thread
All I remember is that when he was chasing me, it took me a while to realise he was mimicking my actions.

Re: The Awesome and Cool Rayman Poll Thread
Well, looks like "Dark" is very unpopular indeed, despite its subsequent appearances!
Here's one inspired by some discussions we've had about Revolution and RenderWare, and how it was poorly optimized for PS2…
Re: The Awesome and Cool Rayman Poll Thread
I think it really should have been on Xbox and GameCube. I feel like the game could have targeted 60fps that way and actually achieved it for the most part. Sonic Heroes, another Renderware game, was 30fps on PS2 with fps drops, while its Xbox and GameCube counterparts targeted 60fps. Though it had some drops, it did at least run at 60fps the majority of the time.
The PS2 was the weakest console, though undeniably one of my favourite consoles of all time, but I feel like the Xbox and GameCube could have done Revolution a lot more justice than the PS2 did.

Re: The Awesome and Cool Rayman Poll Thread
I never played Rayman Revolution, as keep in mind that I have never thought of Rayman being on the PS2. But it should have expanded. Again, I have not played all the Rayman games.

Re: The Awesome and Cool Rayman Poll Thread
Yeah Revolution could have been so much more effective on a stronger console. It wasn’t a bad game, but it also wasn’t a great game either, and that’s a shame since I liked the idea of the remake.
