Re: Pluses (+) and minuses (−) of this day
- So it turns out that the new router my dad and I installed apparently has problems with connecting phones to the WiFi....or so dad tells me, so he went to go return it.
- I realise that I had forgotten to return some books to the library so I have some overdue fines to take care of later today.

You're a programmer who done Web programming, I'm sure you can open the IP address of the router in your browser then change the WiFi settings. The Jonster wrote: Fri Nov 30, 2018 5:44 pm - So it turns out that the new router my dad and I installed apparently has problems with connecting phones to the WiFi....or so dad tells me, so he went to go return it.
+/- I'm sure that item wasn't mine as it was just delivered in Portugal today. Presumably a tracking number mix up.

+/- Well, I'll admit I didn't think of that.Steo wrote: Fri Nov 30, 2018 5:51 pmYou're a programmer who done Web programming, I'm sure you can open the IP address of the router in your browser then change the WiFi settings. The Jonster wrote: Fri Nov 30, 2018 5:44 pm - So it turns out that the new router my dad and I installed apparently has problems with connecting phones to the WiFi....or so dad tells me, so he went to go return it.![]()
+/- It doesn't matter anyway though since he had already left by the time I came home just now. I didn't think it had a problem though since my phone connected just fine yesterday, so I think if I know him right it was more problems with the TV downstairs, which always has bad connections. Makes me wonder if maybe the TV itself is the problem.
Re: Pluses (+) and minuses (−) of this day
Routers don't usually just work properly like that put of the box, there's all sorts of settings you can change. Even changing something as simple as the WiFi channel can make a huge difference.
I'm guessing you're trying to connect the TV to 5GHz while it's too far away and you should be using the 2.4GHz frequency for it instead.

+/- Had two interviews back to back. One went well, totally bombed the other.
Re: Pluses (+) and minuses (−) of this day
- I have stuff to do today, but I just want to go back to sleep.
+ I guess I'll do the sensible thing and get on with it.

+ Getting a 240Hz ULMB monitor today that should also be decent for the OSSC.
+ It isn't costing much because I'm selling the old monitor anyway.

+/- Today's Geography class was the best and worst at the same time: throughout almost the whole class (except for the beginning and end of the class), some people were drilling nearby and the entire class laughed (including me) and were annoyed at the same time. So the teacher had to scream like at a concert to get his message across and what to write down. After that, he just gave up and because he noticed that no one heard what he was saying, he went as far as to type everything we had to write down in our notebooks in a Word document. I'm not kidding! I thought it was funny.

Re: Pluses (+) and minuses (−) of this day
+ In the meantime, I've started downloading ROMS again.
+/- I still need to do some things on my other laptop that I need to try to get done as soon as I can, but that all depends on how quickly I finish downloading and how concentrated I am on doing this.
Edit: + Came in for the second game, found a golden bell quickly and got a 25$ off coupon for anything in the store. SWEETNESS!

+ Because my new monitor seems to be working with just about every mode on the OSSC, I can play any of my older consoles I want without using a failing CRT.
+/- I finally got a reply from that seller, but they actually did send it to the wrong person. There's a big difference between "Portugal" and "Ireland"!

Re: Pluses (+) and minuses (−) of this day
+ I got the new Smash Bros !
Re: Pluses (+) and minuses (−) of this day
I actually didn't get it yet, I feel like I'd rather the cart than the digital version, so I might get that instead.
+ Looking forward to getting smash
- I won't have my PS2 motherboard until next week since the seller conveniently mixed up the addresses
Re: Pluses (+) and minuses (−) of this day
+ Yay!!
+ I love Smash! I've played SSB4 once with my friend (or at least I think he is) who lives in Canada and we had a blast!
+ Unlocked the final race event in Burnout 3 that concludes every race and is the final race that ultimately finishes the Burnout 3 race tour and unlocks the US Circuit Racer if you get gold on it (it's an uncontrollably fast car btw)
+ Also unlocked the final crash event that wraps up (heh, get it) the Burnout 3 crash tour!!
- These mean though that if I do them, that will be the end of the game.
+ But, I don't have to finish the game just yet since there are many more race and crash events other than the final ones.
+/- I also want to unlock the Custom Coupe Ultimate which is basically the mascot car of Burnout 2: Point of Impact, though that would require me to go backtrack and go back to all the crash events and get the ones I didn't get gold at before done for gold before doing the final crash event that gets me the car.
Re: Pluses (+) and minuses (−) of this day
+ I'm reminded by those nostalgic days of playing Gran Turismo 3 by looking at Aarons comments on Burnout.
+/- As much as I want Smash, I also want to save and I'm not sure what to do. I know I'll be buying the game eventually either way.

Re: Pluses (+) and minuses (−) of this day
I actually felt nostalgic somehow when I got back to playing it. I felt like I just needed to play it again and I really wanted to for many months and it feels so much better to go back to playing it again and reexperiencing those fun times I had with it and going back to certain areas of the game and locations like the USA which is where you begin (then you can eventually go to Europe and the Far East). Man, Silver Lake and Waterfront in that location are the best! Also Kings of the Road is good for the most part (except for the part with the pillars, I dread that part). If you're a fan of racers or you're just into the genre, I highly recommend playing it, you won't regret it. + Also, I'm glad I could make someone feel the same (it's a really good feeling).

+ I’m at Gunch’s place for his birthday, let the party begin!
+ We also enjoyed playing Resident Evil 7 and doing nothing all day.

+ It really is an amazing game. I just tried it out there and it's actually really fun.Aaron wrote: Fri Dec 07, 2018 11:32 pm If you're a fan of racers or you're just into the genre, I highly recommend playing it, you won't regret it. It's such a fun game![]()
+ To make it even better, I decided to play it on Xbox and it's 60fps.
+ I think I'm going to have a lot of fun with this game now.
