<'s friend will be visiting for a while this evening. < doesn't see him that often because he's usually busy, but he's going to visit while he has some time off work.

< started on Back to Origins and < decided to use Globox instead of Rayman for a change.

< was thinking about the amount of people who will be online in the Wiimfi servers. < knows that there are like over 100 but < was thinking that the many MKWii rooms that are out there are not guaranteed to always have 11 more people.

< might even go against someone in a 1 vs 1. Who knows?

< had a fun night having a few drinks with <'s friend. After < had a few cans of Guinness, <'s dad gave < some bottle of "celebration stout" which was 12%, < admits that it was strong stuff.

<'s dad also gave <'s friend a can of something called Hazy border before he left, which he didn't drink, as he didn't like it. < doesn't like wasting alcohol, so < may suffer the consequences in the morning.

The excuse is that it's the season for it.

< thinks Arlene Foster should drink that Hazy Border stuff.

< would have much preferred her drink it than <, it was like a can of poison.

Something has <'s stomach in a bad way and it's either that or the 12% bottle. Drinking while having reflux is the opposite of smart anyway.

< might have to go with <'s mother to the bank to get a bank account again. For hell's sake!

< is gonna check later on the console activation. < knows that it will be a few hours before it is time. < will check on it and when it is complete, < will try to explore and come back here with news.

<'s grandmother gave < 4 cans of Guinness.

< went over to fix the bath panel and she just gave them to < saying that <'s grandad won't drink the cans anyway. Free beer is always nice (except hazy border or celebration stout).

< was playing a couple of matches online and then after a while < was banned from the servers for 1 week.
They thought that < was using time and item cheats when < was in fact just experiencing lag.

Ah flake it! < feels bad for ^, after all this waiting.

< understands the ban though.

The thing is that lag messes things up. < learnt that games should always run at 60fps because the FPS is related to the game's clock. Because there is lag, that delays the player's game clock a bit by slowing it down and gives him a few extra seconds which is bit unfair because he will then end up in a Good position even if he comes last. So it makes it look like a timer hack even though
it actually isn't.< Didn't use any cheat, in truth. But the emulator gave < a bad reputation. < must admit.

Dolphin users are no Good. That is why < is Worried.

< is glad that < is not permanently banned though.

That's unfortunate. < assumes that if ^ had a dedicated GPU with more power then it would have sustained the solid 60fps and ^ never would have had that issue. < knows that's not cheap nor easy for a person who can't build a computer themselves though.

Ah well. < had fun anyway even though it was weird experience.

< wasn't even using any item cheats, though. < doesn't know why "Using item cheats" is in the ban reason.

< is glad to hear that ^ had fun going online with Dolphin, though < finds it unfair that ^ was banned for doing nothing wrong.

< did indeed do nothing wrong. The lag was what fucked < over But they Didn't even know that.

But < understood what had to be done. Because it might get to the point that it is just annoying for other players. But They need to change that ban reason, it makes < looks like one of those stupid Mario Kart Wii game hackers and < is not one of them.

< spent last night messing around with the TV via UART since it basically runs Linux and you can access it with a terminal using a program like PuTTY. < was using it to change the panel bin file and make some colour calibration adjustments, while it's a little more advanced having to do it this way than a more accessible menu feature, it's kind of fun that it's possible.

< made an animated sig for this year that is simply a zany joke for the many times that < had played as Daisy in Mario Kart Wii and every other Mario Game.

< has successfully found and gotten an ISO for Rayman 3 Hoodlum Havoc! < will have a happy fun time after all.

< had to stay in bed as < had a horrible headache all day. < thinks it might have something to do with the fact that < had a can of Guinness and several glasses of wine.

Ehh, but < had a lot of fun last night and it was a Happy New Years so it was ok!

< doesn't get headaches from it, < just gets acid reflux.

< has just been drinking anyway since < gets the reflux either way, though < does plan to go back to the doctor soon and find out if there's anything that can be done about it. < keeps buying trays of Guinness on special from Tesco and Super Valu.
