What are people's musical tastes here?

I'm mainly a fan of alternate, indie, pop-punk and rap. Favourite artists are probably Bloc Party, Green Day, Arctic Monkey's, Paramore, Gwen Stefani and Kanye West.

Noticed a lot of people have put video game soundtracks here. I don't really listen to them only exception is Silent Hill. My favourite soundtrack of the series would be from the second game. There's some heavy guitar music, cool melodies and some piano based music. It just fits the game so well and it's the only video game series where I will listen to the soundtrack. It's all really emotional the music rather than horror focused.

I performed Boulevard of Broken Dreams live on the guitar once for a gig it was amazing. The crowd were all singing along. Uses to love rap and went off of it but back into it again. Big fan of Kanye West, Jay Z and Eminem.

Agreed! The 00's were my favourite decade of music with the 90's a close second. I ain't a hipster though that says there's no good music nowadays I still like current music but just not as much.

Oh yeah same here. I don't like certain genres is all and a lot of today's music uses that genre I hate, but that's not to say there's no good music either. I definitely favour some older stuff, I'm a 90's kid.

I can't help but feel like your favourite ice-cream is vanilla, mint, banana, chocolate... (and just about every other flavour too).

I like a few genres also, but my favourite to put it simply is Rock music.

I started listening to radio more frequently as a teenager. Mostly a variety station and a pop culture station. I like the latter's morning show though.
It's how i was introduced to most kinds of music.

I am not very fan of music, but my favourite music genres are Techno (incluiding Eurodance), Pop and Rock. I also like Country music, Psychedelic music and Pop Rock. My least favourite music genres are Reggaeton and Latin Trap.

Huge Hip-Hop head here, I love G-funk, Mob and pretty much everything that used to be made in the Golden era at the west coast. I hate modern rap though, doesn't matter where it's made it all just sounds the same with that ugly southern style. I also really enjoy electro and classical music but not as much as hip Hop.

One of my least favorite genres is Rock, yeah I dislike Rock.

Ashley's song is also one of my favorites. Another game with great tracks is Cuphead (for example One Hell of a Time and the Electro Swing Remix) in my opinion.

Rock and roll. Particularly I’m a massive fan of punk rock or emo. It’s important to me because it not only sounds great and is fun to listen to but I think it is the best genre for expressing one’s self. Aside from that though I do enjoy a bit of electronic dance music from time to time or maybe some hip hop. Or even some orchestral music on occasion. However I can’t stand pop music and it’s artificial style.
