Re: The You Game!

< thinks improving scores is actually really difficult. It takes a lot of patience and a lot of restarting parts of levels. It takes perfection in combos to not mess up and then there's still a chance that the Hoodlums will mess it up for you by running around and killing each other, or the Hoodstorners which fly away. The "sorcerer" as Globox calls it is probably one of the worst ones for screwing up a combo.

< would advise ^ to never give up on scoring as long as ^ is enjoying it. Taking a break from scoring makes sense if it's annoying you/stressing you out though. While <'s score is far from the best, it was actually really hard for < to get that score and < also doesn't know which levels < could improve on.

Also, < does enjoy it, and < already took a long break from the game, not because < wanted to, but there were just so many games to play like Burnout 2 and Club Penguin Rewritten, that < got distracted.

Also, ^'s right, the sorcerer can really screw up a score that would've otherwise been good. And the Crazy Shoe segments too when you can bump into stuff if you aren't careful.

< thinks the main thing is that ^ is having fun playing it. :)

The "sorcerer" (Hoodoo) is really annoying on TTOL part 1, he keeps killing the others with the forcefield. You'll keep improving at levels as you try out different things, it can sometimes get into your head that it's impossible to do any better. It happened to < a lot of times too and then when < went back to it, < managed to easily beat the previous scores by a huge margin. Maybe overdoing it or trying too hard can have negative effects sometimes, so maybe breaks from the game every so often make sense. < assumes that's why < was so much better at it when < came back to it.

Let's face it, playing any game too much is a bad thing, no matter how much you like it, you'll grow tired of anything if you to it too often.

Yeah, < gets it that breaks from a game you've played too much is a good thing, but < already took a long break from it (again, not because < got frustrated) and < missed it now.

It makes sense, like < really likes Rayman, but < still plays other games too. < always goes back to it again eventually though because the games are amazing. :D

< has a habit of getting really addicted to car games also.

Unless someone wants to be dedicated to the game. < doesn't think someone would get tired of the game that way, would they?
< is listening to more Deep House music.

< says it's not just games though, it's everything. You can like school first then start to hate it, you can like your brand new phone at first then start to hate it. It's just the way we are, that you get bored of anything if you see/do/play it too often. Too much of anything is a bad thing basically.

< has patched Wiimfi for Super Smash Bros. Brawl.
This means that < can now play online in that game. :)
Frame rate isn't an issue for this. SSBB seems to be unaffected by this.

< played a couple of matches with someone and < did win some battles.
But eventually, he left. :(
No players are online with game on at this time but it was a fun experience.

<'s friend code for Super Smash Bros. Brawl is 5460-6131-1228
Do not hesitate to add < if anyone else here in RPC has Wiimfi and the game via console/emulator and wants to go for a round or two.

< still hasn't been here in so frickin' long it hurts.

< remembers the love-hate relationship towards Brawl's online play, namely when someone from Mars would join and the whole match would sink as a result. Is it any better with the unofficial servers?

< finds it ironic how ^3's last post from almost 5 years ago was basically replicated right now. :P

Anyway, < says hello. < has only been here for just under a year, so < hasn't ever talked to older members such as ^3 before.

< is still playing Forza Horizon 4 and < still can't get over how good OLED screens look. It's like CRT colours but on a flat TV and in 4k.

< does admit that it is actually a little difficult to find players now. But patience is truly a virtue if a online match is very much desired in this time. < has been connecting and finding only one player all the time but < still enjoyed playing up to like 10 matches.

It is worth the wait sometimes. Wiimfi gives these games a lot of support.

Now....
Time for < to express <'s hate towards cartoons in 2019.

< is looking at YOU, Rainbow Butterfly Whatevs.. :pascontent:

Cartoons should be determined to show by rating or comments! Otherwise..

< hung out and had a few drinks tonight with <'s friend tonight, since he has to go back to work tomorrow night. < had fun and then drank more even after he left. < understands why Globox drinks "plum juice".

< is also still playing Forza. < finds it addicting. :P

< is definitely king eejit, It's going to cost < about €250 to get <'s phone fixed, it'll just really annoy < having a damaged screen otherwise. :P

Seems like <'s area has snow forecast for during the night and tomorrow. It'll be like last year when < joined here while living in a giant freezer.

Despite < consuming a fair amount of alcohol today and being fairly tipsy, <'s ability to play Rayman Origins hasn't been impaired in the slightest. < is feeling pretty happy too. :D

< really enjoys the feeling < gets after < has a few drinks and it puts < in a really good mood. < isn't trying to encourage others to drink though, just because < enjoys it doesn't mean everyone else will too, and at the end of the day, drinking too often isn't good for you either.

Anyway, the reason is because < went to a christening, but then < ate fried food and got reflux, meaning < had to take a break after 2 drinks as < didn't want to make <'s self sick. < knew the reflux would pass, then <'s friend bought < a few cans of Guinness on the way home, stating that < always helps him out, so < deserves them. That's why < is a little bit drunk and in a good mood too. :P

So ^ is saying that Guiness is now ^'s power source instead of a good morning cup of tea?

<'s thought..
