Nah, < isn't an alcoholic that drinks all day. < would only have a few beers at night aside from on a special occasion where < might have a few in the day with friends/relatives.R4Y_ANC3L wrote: Sun Feb 03, 2019 2:42 am So ^ is saying that Guiness is now ^'s power source instead of a good morning cup of tea?

^ has just made < realise that Steo hasn't talked about drinking tea at all lately. Then again, < likes this version of Steo too. At least he's always happy and feels great (for the moment anywaysR4Y_ANC3L wrote: Sun Feb 03, 2019 2:42 amSo ^ is saying that Guiness is now ^'s power source instead of a good morning cup of tea?Steo wrote:Anyway, the reason is because < went to a christening, but then < ate fried food and got reflux, meaning < had to take a break after 2 drinks as < didn't want to make <'s self sick. < knew the reflux would pass, then <'s friend bought < a few cans of Guinness on the way home, stating that < always helps him out, so < deserves them. That's why < is a little bit drunk and in a good mood too.![]()

Btw how is ^? Welcome back!
Re: The You Game!
< still drinks tea, but everyone knows that by now and beer is more exciting than tea (especially after 2 years on the dry as the Irish would say).
Anyway yeah actually, < says hi to ^3 and hopes you're keeping well.
EDIT: "On the dry" is slang for staying away from alcohol. I seem to complain a lot less when I can have a few drinks from time to time, whereas I was a bit of a "Moaning Michael" when I had no choice but to stay away due to extremely bad reflux and feeling awful constantly.

Re: The You Game!
Yeah, it's better to enjoy ^'s life rather than be miserable for years trying to break a habit. Even though < is starting to get on the track to be healthier, < still can't resist getting something totally unhealthy at least once a week. But eating stuff like that makes < really happy, so feck it, you know? Many people have tried getting < to live a healthier lifestyle, but really it's all up to < anyways, and < only thinks < can do it with compromise.
< enjoyed the talk < had with ^ tonight. Even though < is getting busier with <'s studies and other things, < is always up for a good chat with <'s friends.
And < likes this version of ^ too, if that makes any sense.

Re: The You Game!
That's because < isn't feeling as stressed so < isn't unintentionally taking it out on others. < has started getting out more too, after < couldn't go places for so long due to fear of throwing up in public, so aside from being able to have a few drinks, that also plays a major factor. It's probably blatant that < has been in a much better mood lately.
< also knows that it's better to talk to someone about their actions rather than just barking at them, as a lot of people will have no problem just being asked nicely, along with the actions usually being unintentional.
< had some real life stuff going on back then tbh, but now < doesn't care about that stuff. If people like <'s cousin don't even care about themselves, then why should < get involved and be stressed out over them anyway. < will only annoy <'s self that way.

<'s surprised War Groove totally flew under <'s radar, <'s been waiting for a proper successor to Advance Wars since Dual Strike. <'s excited to get it and try it out! Though <'ll probably have to wait until < gets home because <'s uni internet isn't compatible with <'s Switch.

Re: The You Game!
Hmmm, maybe ^ could just go to another location with Wifi and attempt to connect there? When < was in college < usually had to do drive to a Mcdonald's or something to connect <'s 3DS to the internet since <'s uni and dorm wifi had the same problem.
Welcome back btw!

Re: The You Game!
He left? When?
But yeah, < thinks it's nice to see ^2 drop by. < wonders what type of security is used that the Switch is actually incompatible?
< is sitting here playing <'s Les Paul and having a Guinness since < has some left. The guitar still sounds as good as ever.

< would assume that it's a simple block on all Nintendo domains. Like how the company < works for now blocks Skype, which can be a pain in the backside since some of us still occasionally use it for business purposes (it was the main communication method for our office before the change in ownership).
Re: The You Game!
< wishes < had one too.
< has more important things to do tho. < plans on ordering 16GB of RAM since <’s still stuck with four gigs.

< just saw this. If case-insensitive filenames become possible on Linux, < wonders how on Earth we're supposed to make fun of Windows users then…

< thinks people can always make fun of WIndows 10 no matter what.
Re: The You Game!
< is fine now. During the week, < had the flu since Tuesday. < is better but < doesn't think so 100%. Thanks for asking.
Re: The You Game!
Flu is a horrible thing to have, it really does make you feel awful. < hopes that ^ gets back to that 100% soon. < also wonders if ^ ever did manage to get MK Wii working or is it still the same since the ban scenario?
< just realised that < can now say "< is drinking beer", but in a literal sense.

Re: The You Game!
< is stil using Wiimfi and connecting online in Mario Kart Wii. < isn't doing actual races since that lead to problems especially since there was lag.
The fun thing is that < can access the Mario Kart Wii Channel option and be able to race ghosts of other players around the world in time trials. No problems ever occur that way.
< even raced TombRaider's ghost. And he is a famous youtuber who does MKWii videos.

Re: The You Game!
It's a little unfortunate that it detects the lag as cheating, but < is glad that ^ can at least have some fun racing the ghosts.
Re: The You Game!
< says yes at least.
< is glad to find many people's records in time trials out there.

Re: The You Game!
< says it's not so much the security, but that you need to log on with your Uni credentials to use the Wifi and the Switch doesn't seem to have the right interface. < believes < could get it working with an ethernet adapter, but <'s got the game now anyway as < used <'s phone as a mobile hotspot.
Re: The You Game!
Ah that makes sense. < knows that mobile hotspot can be very useful in such situations. < remembers being on a holiday and using <'s for the PS4 a few years ago. The games started downloading large updates and used all of <'s data.
It's <'s own fault for not disabling automatic updates.
