Now, I don't know if any of you know about this, but for the people that didn't know about this before, I found something rather interesting about this game. You probably already know that while you're playing a level, you can press the Select button (PS2) to enter screen capture mode where all the enemies, basically every moving thing will freeze. If you lock onto an enemy and enter this freeze mode, press the Circle button on your PS2 controller and the name of the enemy will be revealed. If you press it again, you get a description revealing information about that specific enemy. For example, how this happened to me was in the Bog of Murk in Part 3 with a Muddibog but I couldn't take pictures of that, so I just took a couple of pictures of what it reveals about a Hoodmonger:

I did use that mode before to take screenshots, but I didn't actually know that. That's actually pretty cool.

Yeah, I agree, it is indeed really cool too. I'll check some more enemies' descriptions tomorrow or when I have time and share some of them too with y'all. :)

Yeah, I would hope that those descriptions are all on the wiki already. Or maybe only the French version…

I've checked for a few enemies and there were for Hoodmonger and Muddibog for example in the English wiki, but I'll just post the in-game descriptions anyway just for fun, ones that I find interesting because as Stelzen said, these descriptions are in fact a good read. :)

UPDATE: Alright, so apparently, what's interesting is that you can do this with everything, not just enemies! You can do it with creatures and objects as well. Here are the descriptions for the Tortoise and a Cage for example as well as the Grim Keeper.

That's what I was thinking at first too, but now I searched for them and they are all in the wiki.

Also, when I tried to view the descriptions for the Grims themselves, the game instead thought they were Hoodmongers

Yeah, now I've actually discovered a lot of differences today between the PS2 and PC versions of this game that are actually kind of interesting in my opinion: first of all, there are (well, at least, to my knowledge) no fish in the PS2 version in The Land of the Livid Dead Part 4 where you swim to Céloche (before you fight him), while the PC version has them. Secondly, I can't seem to get some of the combos in the PS2 version that I can in the PC version.

I also find the PS2 version more awkward to combo in, but I don't know if it's all in my head or if it's just because I prefer Xbox controllers.

Wouldn't surprise me, considering all the stock sound effects that went into the Rayman games.

Yeah like I often hear sounds from Rayman 2 used elsewhere since it's all just generic. They often use the same sounds in cartoons or other games.

EDIT: The sound effect it keeps making in Rayman 3 while the platforms light up against Master Kaag is a very commonly used sound.

Okay, so when I launch Rayman 3, sometimes when the Ubisoft logo appears, I can still use my mouse and my task bar and everything would still be visible when I hover my cursor over them. This is weird. Has this happened to anyone else while they were playing the GOG version of the game?
