Hi... I was on a school trip and I can't believe my eyes. Hunchman, could you please ban that imposter called RZ_pok2. I really don't want to be involved in discussions like this (RZ vs. PC). The fact that I'm a member of RaymanZone doesn't mean that I hate Pirate Community. I talked to Hunchman lately... When my new site is done, it will become one of the PC afflilates just like Rayman-Fanpage.de.

Sad to see so few members have accepted to join the discussion, they do not know what they are losing.
Even if I think we are the ones in position to ask questions, I can tell you revenge is not that simple. We were unfairly treated by RZ admins and its members and most of time even banned. We are against the way UbiSoft managed RZ, for it brought pain and hate. Now RZ is part of the Groupee, Eve or so-called Ubi forums, we could think things have changed. But it has kept the same name. It has kept the same members. And it has taken with it its unfairness. Weren't pok2 and Drolpiraat banned?
It is up to you all to show us this RZ has changed, for in the name of every member who endured the unfairness of RZ we shall always hate what has brought pain.

Ubisoft is a huge company and they don't want ANY content including ilegal stuff like warez on their websites and forums. That's why FCY and the admins are so mean. pok2 was banned on RZ for a while because FCY thought that he posted warez by posting an unofficial Rayman1 patch he made. But that was actually legal, and so pok2 was unbanned after all. Droolie's account was still banned because FCY and UbiRazz decided that he posted something that was really ilegal. But I don't remember much about that and it's real reason, I still wasn't a mod in those days. I have to say that both pok2 and Droolie weren't banned unfairly. Well, pok2 was but Ubisoft fixed that by unbanning him in no time, it was FCY's mistake.. And I have to say that I do understand that RZ was managed unfairly in 2003, I don't know who those unfair members were though.

You're right... I don't like the RZ. I'm not with the ARZO, I know it isn't correct to destroy a forum, but if they want to do that, it's not me they will disturb.

Let's clear a few things up if those accusations are what you're basing your attacks on.

1) The reason there aren't more members that have joined the discussion is because it hasn't exactly been billboarded all over the internet. We have mentioned it on RZ, but we're not going to make a large announcement about it. That would result in panic, at the very least. And there would be users who would lash against you and say things that might offend you - giving you "the reason you need to take down the forums." If you want more RZ members to join, recruit them yourself.

2) I hope you understand how childish it sounds to us that you are attempting to destroy a forum made for a kids' game and by attacking it, you would bring the very same "pain and hate" that you felt upon innocent users who never had any intent on making your lives miserable (which a simple forum is incapable of doing in the first place). You would be doing exactly what you're taking revenge on. And that would be hypocritical.

3) The forum keeping the same name has nothing to do with keeping the same "pain and hate" you speak of. And the members who are a part of the current forum are friendly and fun to be around. Sarcastic sometimes, but never cruel. The "unfair members" you speak of are non-existant.

As Newray said, the banning of Pok2 and Drolpiraat was simply a misunderstanding, made by a mod who was strict, but fair. The two had been a part of discussions which had been seen as illegal. Now, the Terms and Conditions of the Eve/Ubi forums clearly states that the talk of illegal downloads and such is prohibited. As on official forum, it's their responsibility to make sure that illegal talk does not ensue, or they could easily have a lawsuit on their hands. Drolpiraat had indeed been talking about something illegal, but he hadn't done so on purpose and he did it innocently, so they unbanned him. A very gracious thing to do after that rule has already been displayed in the Terms and Conditions, the Terms and Conditions which a user has to agree to to join a forum. "Check this box if you agree to the Terms and Conditions." RZ was more than fair and very gracious to let Drolpiraat back on. Drolpiraat's a great member, but rules are rules.

Pok2's situation was merely a misunderstanding. He was quickly unbanned. Misunderstandings happen - no reason to call a forum cruel and evil for it. Now, if illegal discussions occur, we just give a strong warning, which is more than gracious, according to the Terms and Conditions.

So far, I don't see what part was "unfair" about all of that.

Yeah, if I were to say anything to you guys at ARZO, it'd just be that every biased and corrupted member that was there when you were at RaymanZone is gone now.

The only people left in the forums now are just fans of Rayman... it's just like PC. There's really no difference... apart from the fact that we're more closely related with Ubi, I guess, but we have had brilliant support from them, and at a time when they are under no obligation to give it; not at all like the months without admin activity that we used to see.

So... yeah. You don't need to destroy the old RaymanZone any more: you already succeeded, more than one year ago.

The way how the RaymanZone is managed is axactly like PC. There is an admin, there are a few moderators, a spammer comes, he will be warned, he still spams, he will be banned. Announcements are made, stuff is added, even forum competitions are there. It's just that the RaymanZone is administrated by somebody at Ubisoft. And that somebody could have been pretty unfair at the start of 2003, and later that year they even switched the French admin with a fair one. That's why I don't see much of a reason for ARZO to spend so much time hacking an official forum related to a kids game. It was only the French admin who did a few unfair actions, but those days have just nothing to do with the way how the RaymanZone is managed right now. The admins are different, the moderators are different, and even the members are different. And revenge is never good for mad reasons, revenge is nice to use if somebody made a bad joke to you, then you can joke your revenge back. But other than that, revenge is always evil, useless, and not for a smart human. Just try to remember that..
