It's a very sad day for Rayman fans...
He was also active in the forums and we spoke a bit via PM. He had a kickstarter 3 years ago, that failed unfortunately.

He was the main reason why I got into my profession. There's just something about his music that inspires me and makes me feel joyful.

I have also heard about the news, my deepest condolences to both Rémi's friends and family.

I still remember his initial Kickstarter and how much he used to responed to folks on the forum, it really shows how much he cared about this fanbase and it's disappointing to see he couldn't have one last hurrah with his brilliant Rayman 1 OST(that still hasn't been topped to this day), still it was good while it lasted and I hope he rests in peace.

I found out about this yesterday from a friend, had no idea it even happened until then. I hope his family and friends are doing okay; my deepest condolences regardless.

I remember seeing the Rayman By Rémi project years ago back on Facebook (possibly from here, I can't remember), and although I admittedly forgot about it for a good while now, I'm glad to see he at least did some tracks for it before he passed away (even if it wasn't anywhere near complete). An absolutely bomb as hell soundtrack for a game that appropriately bombs you in the same way with difficulty. Rest in peace, Rémi.
