Maybe I missed it but I looked through it pretty well.
I just want to play some rayman in japanese :(
We can't share links to ROM's here, but I can tell you in Japan the game is called "Rayman Kaizokufune Kara no Dasshutsu". ;)

I was trying to do what I seen speed runners do where they air swim for the fun of it, but it just had the opposite effect and I walked under water instead.

Wow, slidey terrain! I wonder why they bothered putting that there… Also, the blue lums still work. That's interesting…

The sliding section is actually interesting, there's definitely steeper slopes that can be walked on. I didn't expect the Blue Lums to work either to be honest.

Rayman Control Panel happens to include the Irish translation that Plum made, so I had to try it, even though my knowledge of the language is limited. :P

At least I knew what saying "Ly, conás atá tú?" would mean.

This could be good though, remembering what most of these quotes are in English, then knowing the translations for them could help me learn. I'm on "Riasca na Dúiseachta", and I remember riasca from trying to look up bog/swamp/Marsh.

Well, I should warn that it may contain some things I wish I had translated differently, and possibly some mistakes, but I'm happy with most of it. I'm delighted someone's finally using it anyway!

So I was idling at the beginning of The Sanctuary of Stone and Fire, when suddenly I noticed something on-screen and heard a sound. Apparently standing still for a few seconds at the beginning of the level will result in a "Pickwitt" message appearing.
Pickwitt.png
The camera slowly pans to the right and then the message appears a few seconds later.

I tried searching the term on RayWiki and the forum itself, but the only results it yielded were from the secret in Tomb of the Ancients.

It seems to replenish Rayman's health, but it doesn't happen on my actual Dreamcast in that area like it does on the emulator using the NTSC version.

Seems like something that should happen if you push against that tree trunk. My guess is that an emulator glitch is causing the camera to move like that, and it triggers pickwitt when it gets stuck on that tree.

The camera moves like that on the actual Dreamcast too, and I couldn't get it to happen on the console when I was pushing against the tree stump. I'm more stumped than the tree.

I tried on emulator with the European version to push the tree and "Pickwitt" appeared, so I think it's just your emulator or the game who have glitched, also, you can find the others cheats for the Dreamcast version here : https://raymanpc.com/wiki/en/List_of_cheats_in_Rayman_2

I guess that must be all, but I don't know why it's not working on my actual Dreamcast. I must be doing something wrong.

The emulator or USA GDI file is definitely just glitchy when it comes to the cheat. On the real Dreamcast with my retail European game, I have to constantly walk towards the tree until the message appears. On the Emulator I can just stand near a tree for a few seconds and the message will appear.

Now I'm curious and will have to test it when I get back to my computer at home. I know that some Rayman 2 Dreamcast rips were compressed (music is resampled, and in some cases it causes it to play at half-speed/double-speed). I wonder if other glitches such as this were introduced in the process.

I've heard of rips that made certain sounds mono or used a lower bit rate. I was using a gdi instead of a cdi, but I guess that doesn't mean nobody messed with it either. I would have used my own copy on the emulator to test it, but the PC can't read the game files since it's not a GD-ROM drive.
