Re: The You Game!
< wouldn't really encourage one word posts if they're just generic, like constantly saying "indeed" or something similar. Then again repeated generic sentences aren't much better.

Re: The You Game!
But the word "indeed" wouldn't beat what the person above has said. Like you can't just say "indeed" to fire for instance, you can only say water in that instance for example, < says.

Re: The You Game!
< doesn't mean that thread, just in general. < seen a lot of generic replies last year such as "so it seems" or "that seems to be the case".

Re: The You Game!
So it seemed to be the case last year...with <.
< will look forward to this RD of course. < thinks after tomorrow if < is not drained < will start getting back to <‘s Rayman playing again. < hasn’t played for awhile now and < never gets tired of playing the games.

Ah, < sees. < understands that and agrees with that 100%.Steo wrote: Thu Aug 22, 2019 3:53 pm < doesn't mean that thread, just in general. < seen a lot of generic replies last year such as "so it seems" or "that seems to be the case".![]()
On a different note, < saw these two interesting things today in a town in <'s country.
The first one is a fountain and the second one is a catfish well with a girl drinking out of it that < took a picture of. < unfortunately couldn't upload the fountain as an attachment because it said the file was too large.
Re: The You Game!
< appreciates Legends a lot more than < used to, like those music levels for example. <'s been noticing how much creativity and detail was put into the game while < was taking screenshots for RayWiki and editing some articles. < had also played co-op with a friend a couple of times this year, which made < realise how much fun the game was for some reason.
Maybe < was just overplaying it last year.

Re: The You Game!
< definitely agrees about Rayman Legends. It seems a lot of effort was put into the design, which seems kind of wasted since it encourages a playstyle where you just rush past and miss it. Maybe < is being unnecessarily harsh…
< suggests scaling it to a reasonable size (e.g. 750 pixels wide, the SOTM limit) and trying again.Aaron wrote: Thu Aug 22, 2019 4:12 pm The first one is a fountain and the second one is a catfish well with a girl drinking out of it that < took a picture of. < unfortunately couldn't upload the fountain as an attachment because it said the file was too large.
Re: The You Game!
That's exactly why < is seeing it and appreciating it now. Since < is taking it slow and taking screenshots, < gets to admire many things about the game that people wouldn't fixate on when playing through the game. < thinks so many things about the artwork are amazing, and those music levels really are incredible too.PluMGMK wrote: Thu Aug 22, 2019 8:07 pm < definitely agrees about Rayman Legends. < wonders at what point you "implied" that.

Re: The You Game!
< Claimed < would be more active here, only for < to be constantly inactive here.
Re: The You Game!
< thinks < can remember ^ mentioning that, but < had forgotten about it too.

Re: The You Game!
Back on the topics to bump for Record Day, what about "Throw something at the person below you game" or "The Person Below You Game"? < thinks those would be good for RD especially Throw something at the person below you.
Re: The You Game!
< thinks like Plum said, so many people will be getting ninja posted, that game thread replies will constantly be misdirected at the wrong person. The ninja post warning is disabled on RD to save time, so it just happens without warning, meaning the poster has no way of knowing that they were ninja posted.
< would recommend quoting people if you plan to post in a game thread involving other members, and as long as they're not topics that will be heavily open to spam, < sees no problem with bumping a few.
< wouldn't recommend bumping any really old topics that haven't been used in the last 2-3 years if they're ones that either would have no value to the forum, and definitely not any Pirate-Community websites threads either, but < is sure that you already know that.
Certain threads are definitely permissible on RD though, such as the bonk and lamasticot threads.

Re: The You Game!
< should try playing/experimenting through <‘s games much more slowly then. Maybe < will come to pick up on even more things < wouldn’t have noticed normally.

< says hello to Fifo!
Re: The You Game!
< wonders if < should use the Record Day signature that < used for last year's or just stick with this one.
So much to choose from so little time..

Re: The You Game!
< doesn't think < will have time to put on a signature of <'s own..... maybe < will use the one ^ made for < on April Fools
< might also spend some time tonight looking around RPC to see what interesting topics can be bumped tonight. If it comes to food, < can definitely have a good conversation about.

Re: The You Game!
< is going to disable sigs in board preferences for the duration of Record Day, but < still has a copy of that Bog signature that < could use.
