I don't think there was ever one. Maybe the sales weren't good enough for the publisher to consider an English version? :(

I remember the writer saying that an English version was planned to come, but that nothing came of it. We never got to know why though. Probably not a big enough demand for it.

I'd have found it a very interesting read. I guess we'll all just need to learn French instead. :P

This might be easy if we all had French with Rayman. :P

French with Rayman is ridiculous. At one point they mix up the names of "J" and "G". :tssk:

While we're at it, Rayman Junior vol 1 also says "for" and "four" are homophones. Not in my neck of the woods they're not! :pascontent:

Aw crap that might be no good then. Imagine if I had the game and translating my name here from English to French and then vice-versa it would say “The Gonster” instead.

There is a misconception about Rayman where many people thought that his name is a portmanteau word of "ray" (it is referred directly to electricity) with the suffix "man", which it's often used to name male superheroes. But his name is actually derived from the ray tracing program, so he was going to be called "Ray Trace Man" before deciding to shorten the name at the end according to L'Histoire de Rayman.

There is a Spanish Rayman-related video which mentions the misconception about his name under the phrase "I should need electric powers..." if I'm not mistaken:

It is curious, right?

I didn't know about the ray-tracing software being an inspiration for Rayman's name, that's very interesting, also that Rayman parody video is great.

So I'm suddenly hearing that there's going to be another animated series for Rayman.

EDIT: it was posted here just as I mentioned it. I also just realised that it says "inspired by" the popular Rayman franchise.

Yeah I just read the article too. "Inspired by" I don't feel would guarantee Rayman being in this animated series, but I dunno, we can only remain hopeful and wait and see what comes out of this comedy-adventure.

Has anyone seen Rayman M's intro?

If you observe its intro (without omitting it if you are playing on PC or PlayStation 2), you will see that Rayman actually wears shocks. That's why I added as a curious trivia in the Spanish version of RayWiki's article about the character Rayman.

I realized that for the first time when I was in Madrid Games Week 2018 and I was playing Rayman Rush on an arcade.

You mean socks? I guess it makes sense, but I think the joke is that they're polka-dotted. :P

Yes, exactly! If you see the intro, Globox had Rayman's shoes in a sequence before he appeared.

That parody is really good. It's like a Dorkly bit. Wish we had more Rayman parodies.

Hey, I need to ask this, but for anyone who has an iPhone with a version before iOS13, does Jungle Run or Fiesta Run still show up in the App Store? I just looked and noticed they’re gone. I am currently using an iPhone 6S with version 11.3.1 so I haven’t updated, but I’d like to know if anyone else has this issue.
