In the GBA version of Rayman 3 and Rayman Hoodlums’ Revenge, they enable Rayman to fly for a short time (or if he already has the power, prolong flight time). That’s all I know though.

There's definitely a much earlier level in the Dreamcast version and it's ports where it's possible.
