French with rayman does not work

So i finnaly got french with rayman and of course it wont work on my windows 10 computer. i first tried it with dosbox but that does not work.
so i install a vm with windows xp and try autorun.exe, when i click install it just shows the window quickly and it disappears. so i tried dosbox on windows xp its then in the install window but there nothing i do does anything, it says i should start INSTALL.bat but it does not work if i try it in dosbox or just from the folder...
anyone got a fix or anything?

It just like does not work with or without dosbox

You need to use DOSBox for it to work. I'd just copy all files to a folder on your computer and run from there as these installers have many issues. Do you know how to mount etc. with DOSBox? I can explain that otherwise. You can also do it using the Rayman Control Panel automatically.

Edit: Here's a step by step guide to do it manually (Rayman Control Panel will automate this):

1. Insert the disc or mount the disc image
2. Copy all files from the game folder (usually "rayedu") to a folder on your computer
3. Open DOSBox and type the following commands (assuming it's in the D:\ drive):

imgmount d D:\ -t iso -fs
MOUNT C C:\PathToFolderYouCopiedTheGameTo
C:

Then the executable name (usually "rayedu.exe") followed by the game specific command (probably fr1).
