OK, since we've missed our deadline, I've decided to extend this contest to the standard deadline (three weeks after the first of the month) in December. This solves two problems: the messed-up schedule, and the fact that November saw no entries! Hopefully we get some entries between now and the Winter Solstice.

I'll try come up with an idea by then, it's been ages since I've entered SOTM. Worst come to worst, I can enter last year's Christmas one.
