Ubi is trustworthy. Maybe not the admins you dealt with Hunchman, but the forums have changed - a lot. And the new admins are pretty honest. You may not believe me, but it's true.

Besides, there has been plenty of confirmation saying that it was just a server downtime error. Shall I say it again? It has been confirmed that it was just a common downtime. It was not hacked. And that can be expected, what with a server carrying hundreds of forums. And all the forums suffered, not just RZ. Which means that ARZO was lying about getting into the system in the first place, and in fact they're the ones who can't be trusted. They used this "fortunate" incident as a leap board to "prove" that they have gotten into the system.

If I'm wrong, please correct me, but from the information gathered, it seems as though you've deceived us, ARZO.

Well, a downtime can be caused by a hacking attempt... If you look at what ARZO said, they did not try to enter Ubi servers but to... destabilize them. Downtimes already occured several times and this is the first time ARZO have said they are responsible :| Even if Ubi were not lying, they cannot know what has really happened :?
And I am also wondering why ARZO would try to make people think they can damage forums.ubi.com since their scheme does not consist in hacking... This is quite weird, and for ARZO are not used to make jokes, I think there is a reason behind this. Definitely, I do not think ARZO are lying... It is quite easy to send billions of queries to destabilize a board, for example, you know :!:
Anyway, we are here to talk to the Great Guru... But they lost contact with him -_-

That downtime was not caused by an hacking attempt, it was caused by a hard disk broke at Groupee. Bad luck ARZO, we won't believe you guys this time, we have a lot of more connection with the admins than before. We know what technically happens on there. Now it seems that ARZO isn't a professional hacking group like I thought. You know that the old phpBB forum was hacked by a webworm that was easy to use on a old-version phpBB board, no professional hacking knowledge was needed for that. The knowledge of that worm was there on the whole internet and the phpBB group made an update in no time. But really, ARZO just tries to be higher up around the community, A hard disk broke was everything.

Maybe ARZO did attempt the hack, just not literally so it would go down...

This was no hack. Currently, Groupee's own Forum is down too. With the same error message. This is a problem with Groupee's harddisk storage and not only the Ubi forums were affected. Click the link down from this post to see the Groupee company forum down, if it's still not fixed, of course.

Yes, I understand that the downtime wasn't due to a hack. What I'm saying is maybe that wasn't their attempt.

Yes, but the downtime was the only problem we've had at all since blackorb said they'd tested some things. And the downtime was caused by hardware failure. Nothing a hack could do. Just some physical, hardware failure. Happens all the time.

Ah well. Only thing to do is wait for their response... however they decide to respond. I'll be gone for a little while.

I suppose I can say I lost more trust in ARZO. Though I knew for whatever reason any such thing would happen to the forums, they would jump on it and claim they did it, even if they didn't. This just proves that what I thought was correct. And more than Ubi and Eve's own forums hosted by Eve went down...It's hard for me to believe that ARZO screwed up the hard drive...Seriously ARZO, if you want to take credit for something you didn't do, in this kind of situation, then you probably aren't as good as I thought if you go this far just to get people worried...I will do like Antitoonnato and just wait now. *sigh*

I wonder the same thing. I'm not as interested as before anyway, after the prove that they're just a buch of lying kids. It was 100% proved. They may are computer freaks. But they aren't professional hackers, they can't hack a server, or a phpBB forum. So don't even think about they can hack Groupee.

Your reasoning is nonsense. If you knew anything at computers, especially what can cause a hard disk to break, you would not have concluded that we cannot be responsible for it.

My conclusions are made together with one of the Ubisoft admins, and also together with the other moderators. And haven't you seen that not only Ubisoft's private server at Groupee was down, but also some of their shared servers like the one with Groupee's company forum? Groupee has very secured data systems, but sometimes they can break just because those servers handle thousands of requests each time. And I don't think it's possible to break those servers just by sending a high amount of queries or whatever you wanted to do. So don't blame my knowledge about computers for my reasoning..

Yeah, me too. I still don't believe them though, but a talk with their leader could be interesting for both RZ and PC.

I find it believable, though hardly. It does seem like they are kind of trying to be this professional group of hackers, though, I'm starting to think not. I'm still not very interested in this whole thing anymore, because now they're doing this, and it isn't as interesting anymore...Though, I will wait and see what this "Great Guru" guy has to say...

It is. They go off and do something like this and then don't respond? This only convinces me more that they had just fooled us rather than actually caused the downtime themselves.

May I remember you that whatever you are thinking of about this tiny test that caused a hard disk failure, we are still in position to destroy RZ?
Our Great Guru should be back in a few time, and the reason is not of your concern.
