Why don’t you people reply!!?
Maybe it's because some of us are busy and/or haven't taken the survey just yet. We have an entire year to do so and there's no need for anyone to rush into it, so try to be a little more patient please.

Origins is also getting more love
It deserves it! It's truly an amazing game, nobody can dislike that amazing game with that beautiful artwork.
Fifo wrote: Mon Jan 07, 2019 7:27 pmUnsurprisingly, 60.6% think Rayman Legends is not worthy of the Definitive Edition mark.
As for Legends, I own the switch version and it's amazing especially since it's portable, but aside from that, it's the same game with "Definitive Edition" slapped on the cover. It doesn't have anything particularly special about it over the others to really be named definitive. It's not that Legends isn't worthy, it's that the particular port itself isn't exactly spectacular in comparison to the others.

Yeah I know I went a bit far there. The fact that I had to unnecessarily bump/multi-post annoyed me.

When that happens to me, I usually try edit the new info into the latest post, then delete it and post it again. That way everyone gets a notification and you don't need to multi-post. To be fair, your last bump was in 2018 so its OK.
Anyway, I plan to take the survey this evening if I get a chance.

Damn, I never would have thought of that myself!

I took the survey and wow, judging by the results, some people just can't accept a little change and enjoy the UbiArt games. We get it, Rayman 1 and 2 are amazing, I even rated them 10/10, but there's nothing wrong with a little bit of change here and there. Nothing stops a future game from being based on the first 2 titles, so there's no need to cry about it.
People going so far as to say the UbiArt titles shouldn't exist, that's an extremely narrow minded opinion, where they could have just said they don't like the games.
I'm not a huge Raving Rabbids fan and everyone has their own opinion, but you don't see me saying the Rabbids shouldn't exist. I feel like they're better separated from Rayman as their own series, but the difference is that in Rayman's world it was all just minigames, where the UbiArt titles are actually tons of fun, with amazing artwork and proper levels which don't get repetitive and boring after an hour.
I still think Raving Rabbids can be fun, but it really does get repetitive and boring after a while for me. I still don't feel like it shouldn't exist, but Rabbids are definitely better as their own series.
Ancel created 2 beautiful games and all people are doing is moaning about the lore. Did anyone ever really stop and think that none of the UbiArt predecessors had much lore going for them either? Doesn't really make much sense to hate them, especially if you like the original game (Rayman 1). The biggest complaint people make is that they want a 3D game, but Rayman 1 is quite clearly 2D, unless my glasses don't work.
I guess as Taylor Swift says, "haters gonna hate".
I think everyone would like a new 3D game, but if a new UbiArt title was announced tomorrow, I'd preorder it. At the end of the day, Rayman is Rayman.
I have to say, it's very interesting to see how Rayman 3 has now overtaken Rayman 2 as the most popular game of the series, shifting attitudes or just the passage of time causing a change in active fandom demographics?

Yeah I’d think it’s the demographics.

I would tend to think it's the demographics; asking participants their age next year might help solve this mystery.
