What are the gold pieces attached to the front shoe supposed to be?

I think it is the dollar sign that appears above the shoe when you are chasing it.

No, I think it's the rings that appear around the floating shoe (same as a detergent can) that you have to walk over to start the shoe minigame.

EDIT: Actually, I think I'm looking at the wrong one.

As an American fan I always thought it was dumb that we got a different piece of artwork for the cover of Rayman 3 when the European cover was so much cooler.

Not rare at all but it’s one of my favorite pieces of Rayman art.

I think Rayman and the logo look better in the european cover, however the background of the american cover is pretty cool is you ask me.

I remember seeing this picture in advertising of Rayman Legends Definitive Edition. I thought it looked absolutely beautiful, and I was excited to see where this image took place in the game. Upon playing the game, it was nowhere to be found. Maybe I just completely missed it, but I don't think it was in the game. But it was honestly really disappointing

yea pipes like that Do appear in a few levels but not this exact enviroment to my knowledge. no big ass realistic jellyfish anywhere

That's where I assumed it would be, but alas, no majestic jellyfish to be found.

Ah, the jellyfish… Yes, come to think of it, that does make it look like they had planned at one stage to do a lot more in that version. You know, make it deserve the "Definitive" moniker.

Looks more like the last part of the level before that (Elevator Ambush), but obviously a collage and not a real game image, because the Dark Teensy would normally be in the frame.

Well, the place was more active back then so I'm afraid that now the turnout would be pretty low. However, if enough people show interest in it, there's no reason not to do it again.

If you look closely, you'll notice the General is facing backwards inside the pod (which has also the pirate emblem on the back). Did Razorbeard contact this guy before R2 events? Who knows!

This gives me an idea for a meme.
