Or broken instead of broke? This gave PluM headaches. :P

Well if that was the case, what about "I could care less".

Oh yeah, with Jack, Yami and company thinking the Hardrox rank was "broken". I'd forgotten all about that! :fou:

Maybe he hasn't saw this yet. :P

On the topic of Origins, I plan to replay the game when I get an AMD GPU again.

I remember when Ray502 put "has saw" into Google Translate and posted the resulting nonsense on the French forums, affirming the old adage, "Garbage In, Garbage Out".

Oh yeah, machine translations of texts with bad grammar always yield funny results.

I wrote "Globox Moment" into Google Translate a while back, it said it translates to "Nóiméad Globox" in Irish. If I wrote "Globox moment" with a lowercase M, it translated to "Láthair don bhosca gloin", which then translated back to "Location of the glass box".

Yeah, now that machine translation uses machine learning rather than a set of rules, it can lead to even funnier results as it interprets stuff it would just ignore before that.

So I was just playing the first level of Origins and a strange glitch occurred. During the Betilla chase, the Darktoon got stuck on a Nenuphar and I accidentally outran it. It stayed there and never made it to the green toothed cave.

It wouldn't let me attach a video so I just posted it to YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OwH_HQaZXXs

I have no idea what triggered this glitch. I know it means basically nothing but I thought I might as well share.

Btw, what would be the best way to save this page and upload it to the wiki:

https://support.feralinteractive.com/do ... l/#spread1

I tried to save it as a PDF, but some images don't appear, the same happens when you make a copy in the Wayback Machine.

It was just discovered that the devs left their original localization file in a Just Dance game from Rayman Origins. It's the script from an early version of Origins with a ton of developer notes. There's way too much unused stuff there for me to write here. Biggest differences I could find (without attempting to read all the Pig Latin :P) were:
- There's an unused third Livid Dead map named "Don't Shoot the Dead" right before the final boss
- Unused costumes like "Tarayzan Teensy", "Uglette" and "Flashy MacTeen Teensy"
- Big Mama is actually the Bubble Dreamer...? "BIG MAMMA BOSS CINEMATIC TRANSFORMATION BACK TO BD as master wang" and "Near the End of Game (or if big mamma rose Boss becomes BD !)"

Maybe try to fix the PDF and add the images back in manually?

Neat! Does it come in other languages too?

On an unrelated note, I just watched this video which sums up pretty well why I'm not a huge fan of the UbiArt games.

Except for one difference, maybe. I don't think think the pig shit latin was a nice addition. At all.

I could also take screenshots of the site, cut all the pieces and make a PDF with them, however the menu is always visible, which makes it more difficult to create a "clean" version of the manual.

You can remove the menu and buttons by entering $('header').remove() and $('.inpagenav').remove() in the browser's console. I tried to print as PDF and it doesn't look too bad, but some images are still missing.

I think it's better to generate from text rather than screenshots anyway.

Other than what's there? No, but I don't think Origins was ever translated to more languages.

Thanks for the code, it works fine, the only problem left is that there are 3 lines of text that come out of the page for some reason (which can only be fixed by zooming out the page). What worries me about using the browser to create a PDF file is how different it is from the original source; even if you add the images that are missing, the font and distribution of the texts are different, and the format of the pages is vertical instead of horizontal.

For the time being I saved the spanish manual in the Wayback Machine:

https://web.archive.org/web/20200501225 ... am/manual/

I’ll try to save the manual in other languages later.
