Rayman Revolution (PS2) voices modding help
Hi everyone, I'm a bit new of PS2 modding, for some time I wanted to mod Revolution because it seems they totally removed the italian voices that were present in the PS1 version I was really fond of, and try to re-import them in Revolution. I read some ps2 modding tutorial here and there, extracted my iso with 7zip and found the voices files (/SOUND/BNMENG.BF (5782kb) and BNMENG.DSC (4kb) for the english ones), then I downloaded the bf extractor used for PoP/BG&E/Rayman RR, but it seems that those .bf files from Revolution are incompatible. Are there some alternatives I could try? Thanks!
Re: Rayman Revolution (PS2) voices modding help
As far as I know, noone ever figured out how to import any new files into these archives, so it's dead end.
Not to mention that PS1 contains much less content and dialogues than in Revolution.

Re: Rayman Revolution (PS2) voices modding help
The bf format is completely different in the Jade games (that's the game's "big file" format). I don't know anything about the Revolution format, so I can't say what that is. But as deton24 said, the PS2 and PS1 versions don't have the same dialogue, so it wouldn't really work.
