< understand, < apologizes if < was being a little nosy. It’s a bit of a bad habit of <‘s.
Re: The You Game!
If the statement said "might", then this means ^^ was unsure anyway, so it wasn't really necessary to delete it. Regardless, < would prefer if people didn't get hostile or have a go at each other, it would create a bad atmosphere for others.
< is wondering if < will have the patience to somewhat write a package manager, though < isn't sure what language to look at if < was going to get started on such a project...

Re: The You Game!
Considering ^ has gotten LFS to work properly, < wouldn't be surprised if ^ eventually took that challenge on.
<'s sister has tested negative for COVID, so things will return to relatively normal at <'s house now. Hopefully, so will <'s sleep schedule!

Re: The You Game!
Speaking of sleep, < is really tired since < only had like 4-5 hours of broken sleep at best. < really should fix <'s schedule too.
As for the package manager, the only languages < was even somewhat familiar with were JavaScript and Python. < is open to learning anything though, and < just doesn't want to choose a crappy method to start with.
EDIT: Oh, and < did make a couple of mistakes with LFS, then asked Plum for advice a couple of times.

Re: The You Game!
< has been operating lately on the sleep schedule < seems to have developed whenever < sleeps downstairs:
Sleep late, wake up really early, then head upstairs and falls back asleep, then wake up in the middle of the day.
Speaking of programming, < hasn't worked on <'s class lately. Since <'s sister has now tested negative, things are returning to normal in <'s house, and hopefully <'s sleep schedule will too. < should get some studying done in <'s room tonight if < can just pry <'s focus away from <'s videogames.

Re: The You Game!
< hasn't even played anything lately, apart from Rayman Origins a few days ago when < first got Vulkan working on LFS.
< guesses it doesn't matter too much about which language < chooses for this also, once it ends up working that's the main thing.

Re: The You Game!
< has been distracted all evening with <‘s old laptop which now has two new issues.
<‘s mouse pad sometimes doesn’t respond to <‘s strokes when < moves the mouse.
And again, another problem with the left arrow key! This time it doesn’t just not work when < presses it: it also is constantly triggered automatically at times without < doing anything, which messes up what < is typing. < thinks this may be due to the water damage long ago, < had the same issue with <‘s old 3DS. What to do....

Re: The You Game!
< has been messing about with Python relating to a package manager since it's the only language < has really looked into. < managed to work out some stuff, and < will likely get the hang of it within time.

< wasn’t trying to be hostile at all.Steo wrote: Mon Jul 20, 2020 8:58 pm If the statement said "might", then this means ^^ was unsure anyway, so it wasn't really necessary to delete it. Also, < wishes ^ luck with Python!
Nah, you’re okay.The Jonster wrote: Sat Jul 18, 2020 6:39 pm < understand, < apologizes if < was being a little nosy. It’s a bit of a bad habit of <‘s.
Anyway, < hopes you get your laptop fixed.
(Or replaced.)
< has been playing FF7 for the past few weeks.

Re: The You Game!
< says that's great, hope ^ is enjoying! Also < wishes ^^ luck with getting the pkg manager working with Python!
Replacing isn't gonna be hard since < has another laptop to use hehe.

Re: The You Game!
<’s enjoying it indeed!
Re: The You Game!
< will try do more work on these scripts, though the only thing < can do is import the text from the webpages, then use before and after strings to find values, such as the version and file extension etc.

Re: The You Game!
< says best of luck to ^^ with that!
< finally downloaded Raycarrot's Control Panel last night. < is very curious to see how it will run on <'s new laptop.
< will be working on <'s class again later today, < is now at the point where < will be bringing html and css and javascript together so < is more ready than ever to learn.

Re: The You Game!
< is excited about how the Educational Game support is coming together in Ray1Map. Now that letters and numbers can be inserted, < should probably make a level about differential calculus some time.
(Can't do integral calculus, since the long-S symbol isn't in the sprites.
)

< also wishes ^^ luck with the culinary challenge!
< is guessing nobody is convinced by <'s newest theories about the identity of Mister Dark and Jano, or about the canonicity of Rayman M.
