My cousin made me a matcha green tea latte yesterday, and it made me curious so I'll ask the tea lovers this:

What do you guys think of green tea?

I absolutely despise coffee, could never get into it at all. As for tea, I used to drink tons of iced tea, but I haven't had tea of any kind ever since my grandma died, since she always made it for me...

I've only ever had Green Tea KitKats, straight from Japan :)
They were pretty good, but I'm not sure how they measure up to the real stuff

I’ve heard of those but I haven’t tried any yet tbh despite seeing them here.

I used to drink green tea an awful lot but now it's occasional. Like if I'm offered a lemon green tea I wouldn't say no. I like the type you can get free alongside your meal at Wagamama. Green tea sweets on the other hand...are a bit weird. Maybe acquired taste. I know my fiancé's parents brought a big bag of the kitkats from I think South Korea and they were ok.

The only green tea sweets I've had are mochi (which were nice when i had them years ago) and ice cream (which kinda is a mixed bag for me since I've had kinds that tasted sweet and some that tasted bitter).

I still prefer tea, though all I usually drink is black tea.

While i'm at my first post on this page, I recently bought some matcha powder to make some of my own.

I need to get the ratios right though since if I do it wrong it'll taste like bitter milk.

I'm making a couple herbal teas right now, the usual peppermint for the SO and an apple for me with a lil' agave syrup. Some weeks ago I got a buttload of these Turkish herbal teas from a discount food shop where they were like 6 for £1 and I got different flavours such as these.

I did like coffee a lot, but it doesn't really agree with me anymore like I once said.

I wonder what kind of coffee you were drinking?

I find tea to be a good beverage before bed. Coffee is a good energiser which I like taking in the daytime, especially to help me through work.

I feel the same about both, I usually had both in the morning when I worked last year.

I kind of can't go a day without my tea though, if only we had a Mrs. Doyle here.

I think the only times I've ever actually gone a day or so without a coffee was whenever I felt unwell. Like when I caught a cold when I was in Florida, or when I got seasick while on a cruise. That sucked so much because the coffee on that cruise was mainly segafredo so nice and strong but it's not fun drinking when you've just been feeling like that scene in Team America. So I settled with orange herbal tea instead.

I used to drink a ridiculous amounts of coffee too, but now lately it's just a few cups of tea a day. I did try green tea a few times, but it's been a while.

I gotta say I'm probably consuming three or four large cups of coffee a day.

I remember Imco once told me that it's disgusting to put milk in tea.

All hell went loose when I got a Nespresso machine and I found places to get pods for chip cheap. Same for the ol' dolce gusto.

Everybody got their own opinions. I don't think it's really disgusting. I put milk in my green tea latte for example. :D

I guess it depends on the tea, I guess whatever type he drinks wouldn't work with milk.
