Remember with Hurricane Ophelia, how we had to lock down the country for a whole day? Never thought I'd be nostalgic for that, but here we are…

Unrelated, but in that case, we could call COVID-19 a hurricane since it caused lockdowns in places.

My point exactly! I'm nostalgic for when we locked down the country for just one day!

Yeah I remember thinking that lockdown was a big deal too.

Seems normal again today. SIgh wish it would rain today.

I do remember a thunderstorm last year that just came out of nowhere and <'s dad was out cycling in it. That really doesn't sound safe.

Yeah that could be hazardous.

Nothing happened, but I definitely wouldn't like to be out in it myself.

Neither would i unless i was sheltered in a car or something.

It's very unlikely to actually strike where you are, but you never know.

Well I think lightning strikes the tallest object, so not liely chances.

Yeah but it would still be scary stuck in the middle of it on a metal bike.

Oh yeah, that would be scary indeed!

It's one of those "weather can't make mind up" days and I'm like ffs I've got laundry piling up and I don't want to keep using radiators in the summer!

The weather here is bipolar basically.

The weather's great, but the forecast for the next few weeks is a bit depressing.
