Best premade sushi in the UK is still Wasabi unless anyone can tell me otherwise.

I had traumatizing experience with wasabi involving one of my cousins, so I don't like wasabi.

I don't have a specific favourite roll (i'll try to remember) but I don't like those kinds that come with a meal when you order a bento box from a restaurant or something around those lines.

Once we talked about choices between Japanese and Italian suppliers (which in either case, I would have to travel to meet face to face). My opinion on the matter was "Japan has sushi, Italy has pasta!" (and I'm a vegetarian).

In the heel of the hunt, when I did go to Japan, I ended up mostly eating at Italian restaurants. :hap: :fou2:

I'm pretty sure there has to be sushi that doesn't have meat on it.....

My favourite rolls typically have shrimp tempura and/or cream cheese/avocado in it. I know there are other kinds I like too but there's too many for me to remember.

I haven't bought sushi for a while now, last time I did was sometime last year in Yo Sushi. I did make my own a few months ago though, usual cucumber, avocado and I also had inari pockets that I got cheap. I don't think I'll be able to get a bargain like that any time soon now but maybe if I treated myself elsewhere.

I'm interested in trying it some day, it's clearly very popular and I've never eaten it.

Recently for my mom's birthday, she and i made this baked sushi dip which I ended up really liking and would totally eat again. I kinda wish we had added more green onions and furikake though... :D

'Ere there's the sushi I made. I would do this more regularly if my SO liked sushi, but he does not so I tend to only do it when it's just me in the house for the evening.

I've been making sushi for a year or so, it's great. My old piano teacher let me in on his fresh Chinese fish market normally not friendly to the non-oriental, so I get great fresh crab, sockeye salmon and tuna. I found a wonderful yam/sweet potato farm in Langley, now I just need a deep fryer.

Kitchen Nightmares kicked my ass into avoiding so many bad habits.

Oh thank you. I still haven't 100% nailed the rolling part of sushi but at least I enjoyed that plate.

I eat sushi on very rare occasions, but enjoy it regardless despite having always despised fish-related dishes.
I started eating sushi at a Chinese restaurant were they made these for a try, then I tried to educate myself into eating 3/4 sushi pieces everytime I went there.
We even have some ingredients to make homemade sushi anytime.

I liked sushi ever since i was a little kid but at one point i stopped eating it because one time i ate some sushi with fake crab and it scared the hell out of me because it tasted terrible. Took me awhile to start eat sushi again but i got back into eating it years ago.

I had a look on the Wasabi website to see if any more branches opened up north...and saw they make a vegan "salmon" nigiri and I wanna try it. O.o.

Might just work, after all most sushi salmon barely tastes like salmon.

I don't know if I like sushi, but there's something fishy about it.

I've had rainbow rolls and caviar before, really enjoyed it. :proud: Yum, I ought to have some again!
I'm sure I've had plenty other types but I wouldn't be able to recall them by name.
