I wonder if in the original SNES game the goal was to collect pieces of an "anti-virus" software so you could beat the virus.
And the various pieces of it form the equivelent of "The Great Protoon" that could defeat "Mr Dark".

Yeah several tracks seem to be removed. The remaining tracks seem to be of lower quality and some of them are also changed in pitch. I remember multiple people joked about the soundtrack being like earrape.

There are a few exclusive tracks too though. I don't think it's a compressed version, it's the raw MIDI for decoding by the GBA's (inferior) sequencer. Right?
