Re: The You Game!
<'s heart goes out to ^^. < wonders if there's a possibility for ^^ to view ^^'s exam papers to see what went wrong? < has done that in the past, and it's a very good part of the system here in Ireland.
Re: The You Game!
< has returned ^^^'s Tings, < hopes that ^^^ will come back to the forum.
< has been playing Revolution again. < is on the Sanctuary of Stone and fire. < finds it interesting how you don't have to revisit the Marshes of Awakening since Jano is at the end instead, and how you visit the Menhir Hills first.

< hopes R4Y will return too. It worries < to see <'s friend feeling down.
< will start working on Redemption again tomorrow. The deadline for the COTM is getting nearer and < hasn't gotten any sort of practice in.

Re: The You Game!
< has at last finally finished <'s todo list project. < is going to be spending part of this weekend trying to customize <'s past projects before < uploads to Github (even that might take some time too since < needs to remember what commands to use to push in Git anyway.
)
Re: The You Game!
One of <'s PS2's just kicked the bucket tonight when < was trying to install a scratched disc onto a HDD. < has other ones, but it's still somewhat annoying regardless.

Re: The You Game!
For some reason, < tried to resecure <'s gmail a few days ago after < couldn't login with <'s computer. < got word back tonight that they couldn't verify < after < provided accurate checks, with the backup code being the only thing < couldn't get. < submitted another request a few minutes ago and got <'s gmail account in seconds (they didn't ask < for the backup code this time).

Re: The You Game!
< is delighted for ^! < doesn't really have room in <'s dining room/home office for an office chair, but < doesn't feel too uncomfortable in general.
< has probably done enough derping around with Rayman 1 hacking for tonight.

< needs a new chair too, now that the conversation has shifted onto chairs.
< is going to apply for a course soon, preferably in computer hardware since it's something that < always liked working with. < thinks that's something < would like to have a job in.

< is extremely nervous since < finally begins college tomorrow, but has overall felt much better ever since < got all of <'s stuff moved into the new house
Re: The You Game!
<’s happy for ^

< thanks ^^^ and wishes ^^ the best of luck too!
< finally managed to get OBS to work on LFS, and it turns out it was actually really simple...
< had never seen the portable mode option and thought it was only available for certain distros.

Re: The You Game!
< just saw the post now, but < also wishes ^ success on that goal.
Re: The You Game!
< says thanks. < should have gotten into it years ago, but < hesitated to start since < didn't want to do something very basic that < already knows. Unfortunately that's how it works, you have to start small and do something simple, then build on that to get to where you want.
Re: The You Game!
Yeah that's how < started photography and ceramics also. Photography is a more suitable form of art for < to pursue though as <'s more talented in that than ceramics. < also wants to mention that it's so incredible how far you can come even after 1 year of practicing something. If < for instance compared a photo < made last year compared to one < took now, the difference would be noticeable.
< says that when you're first learning something, it will often feel like luck that something you do turns out to be something you're satisfied with, but over time, gradually, it will feel like it's actually your skill and knowledge that you know can get you that thing that's satisfactory because you know the "tools" needed to produce that.

Re: The You Game!
< knows how to do these things, it's just having proof on paper that < can, otherwise < wouldn't be hired anywhere.
