Re: The Awesome and Cool Poll Thread
Pineapple on pizza is a heresy, but I kinda like it nonetheless. I almost never have it though as there's other pizzas I like a lot more.

Re: The Awesome and Cool Poll Thread
I’m guessing you don’t like pineapple?
I somehow forgot to vote on this uhh...month old poll. I can’t think of another suggestion atm.
Re: The Awesome and Cool Poll Thread
Pineapple on pizza is fine! It's the only meal I actually like pineapple with. It's pineapple in rice dishes that I don't like, there's just something about the way the textures and flavors blend together that's really off-putting to me.

Re: The Awesome and Cool Poll Thread
Suggestion for next poll: Given all the buzz about clinical trials lately, how eager will you be to get vaccinated against COVID-19?

Re: The Awesome and Cool Poll Thread
^ Very. It doesn't matter if you've been like me and generally have a good immune system, test negative for family conditions like lupus and PCOS etc, I'm not taking any chances with corona.
Re: The Awesome and Cool Poll Thread
I'll update this poll in a bit when I'm on my PC, it's been a while since it was updated anyway.
EDIT: The results for the current one: I've updated the poll with Plum's suggestion.

Re: The Awesome and Cool Poll Thread
Well since I already had it about one or two months ago I can't say I care much about getting vaccinated.

Re: The Awesome and Cool Poll Thread
I voted very eager. My desire for a swift end to this nonsense currently outweighs my concern about any potential side effects that may not (yet) have shown up in the trials!
Re: The Awesome and Cool Poll Thread
Personally, I'd rather let the keen majority get vaccinated and then herd immunity can do its thing. Most of us here are more likely to die from something else than covid in the next twelve months anyway. That said, if vaccinations somehow became mandatory I wouldn't be too bothered...

Now that's a scary prospect!Xenon wrote: Mon Nov 16, 2020 10:40 pm That said, if vaccinations somehow became mandatory I wouldn't be too bothered...
Re: The Awesome and Cool Poll Thread
Some pretty scary precedents have already been set in several other areas. Policing powers, track-and-trace, the removal non-covid related healthcare, to name a few.
When I wrote my comment I just meant that I'm not that bothered about being vaccinated, though.

Re: The Awesome and Cool Poll Thread
I'll probably take a wait-and-see approach if one gets distributed, I'm a little scared that vaccines are being rushed for the sake of being the first on the market or because politicians' re-election bids might hinge on the state of the pandemic. Once there is one that's proving to work over a period of time I'll definitely get it though, I'm getting real sick of having to constantly worry about covid.

Re: The Awesome and Cool Poll Thread
I wonder if we should replace this with a really similar poll, how quickly "did" you get vaccinated? (With "not yet" as an option of course!)

Re: The Awesome and Cool Poll Thread
Sounds like a good idea, let's archive the previous one and update the poll, then!

I think Steo's in charge of the topic at the moment!
Re: The Awesome and Cool Poll Thread
I'd forgotten all about it. I'll update it after RD.

Great, I look forward to it.
Re: The Awesome and Cool Poll Thread
Yeah it's been some time. I really should have a to do list, it seems like being organised makes sense or something.
