Re: The You Game!
< is glad you guys like it! It's the best < can do anyway.

Re: The You Game!
Firefox doesn't like the snow so much for < since the tabs like to crash or just go really slow. This didn't happen to < in the past and it used to work with Chromium too, so it's odd that Firefox isn't handling things so well.

Re: The You Game!
< remembers the snow causing problems for lots of people in the old days, including < on Chrome, and Matyuv on Firefox. < is sad to hear that those issues have resurfaced after a decade or so. But anyway, there's always NoScript if it's killing your performance…
Re: The You Game!
< understands it being really bad on a dual-core CPU which < had first seen it on when < was testing the laptop, but it's weird for it to be so laggy on a 3700X while using a 5700XT, unless it isn't using hardware acceleration for some reason.

Re: The You Game!
< finds it baffling that browsers haven't gotten any better at handling a bit of snowfall, and that some have actually gotten worse. That's something they have in common with railway companies.

Re: The You Game!
< wonders if it's the browsers themselves, or the particular combinations of extensions and settings that some users happen to have. < seems to recall for example that Matyuv was the only one who had problems with Firefox that time, even though lots of us were using it. But maybe <'s wrong.

< watched/binged the entire Haunting of Hill House all day yesterday. < expected to be spooked like <‘s cousin said < would but for some reason < found hardly anything that really gave < a fright.

< agrees too, which in turn leads < to wonder why < even watched it in the first place. The Jonster wrote: Mon Dec 28, 2020 4:44 am Maybe < just doesn't scare easy, < didn't feel much of anything when < watched The Haunting of Bly Manor either.![]()

Re: The You Game!
< has no problem clicking a lighter piezo on <’s tongue tho.

Re: The You Game!
< guesses it produces false tastes, like Alessandro Volta reported? < guesses it's also painful since the voltage is quite a bit higher!
Re: The You Game!
< just remembers that it kind of stings your tongue. The reaction isn't bad though compared to messing with those sparkers from lighters.
