Rayman Rumours thread

Hello RPC,

In light of the recent 4chan leaks (and the usual Rayman 4 Smash movement) I thought i'd begin a thread for people to share rumours they've heard or seen on the internet regarding Rayman. Obviously, none of these rumours hold any merit, because that's what they are - rumours, but to start us off, here's a recent one from 4chan, leaking "some rayman game" in an upcoming Nintendo Direct conference and one from 6 months ago, detailing a Rabbids Kingdom battle Rayman related sequel.

I'll add rumours you guys submit below to a list, and maybe we can start growing a list of them? Would be interesting to see the types of rumours that circulate the internet!

"Mario and Rabbids 2: Rayman Escaped!" - https://www.reddit.com/r/GamingLeaksAnd ... ak_from_v/ A some what detailed description of Rayman dimension hopping and evading capture from Rabbids, slated for a Switch 2021 release.

"Rayman in Smash" - https://www.reddit.com/r/GamingLeaksAnd ... _hayabusa/ An account from a user on reddit, suggesting that Rayman joins the battle, alongside Doom Guy and Ryu Hayabusa.

I'd love to hear any and all rumours, new and old about Rayman below. Even ones proven to be false and just plain stupid.

These are rumours about the games though, not in game lore, lost media, conspiracies. But obviously it's not up to me. I'm discussing literal rumours regarding the franchise - nothing to do with the in game universe.

Okay, this is a leak that wasn't true but a leak was Mario + Rabbids: A Teensie bit of Trouble.
