Welcome to RPC Geigergast! I hope you have a good time around here.

Btw, I thought that the maximum heigh for a signature was 285px, I guess that rule only applies for SOTM contests.

hello! my name is Mel, better known as Pobert-Eii in chiptune circles.
i originally came here to report on a lost Rayman short, but i've actually been a long-time Rayman fan since I was 5 in 2009, and I've since had a newfound liking to Rayman since the starting of this decade.
Rayman is very interesting to me, as he is both mainstream *and* obscure--- something that many games seem to have achieved.
I've done some art and music over the past 3 years, and I generally like surreal animation and like my fair share of obscure and foreign animation.

Welcome, poberteii! :)

I guess it's about time I make a better introduction here, haha.

Hello! I'm Aaron. I've been a passionate fan of the Rayman series since 2014, my first game being Rayman 2's PS1 version.
About myself, I'm interested in ceramics and am a hobby photographer. I've also started getting into music as of late. Speaking of, I'm planning to make music using better, more serious composition software like DAWs and programs for chiptune at some point, after I learn enough music theory of course.

Welcome again, Pobert-Eii! Since you mentioned chiptune, you might be interested in this thread from Hayabusa.

And nice to... meet you better, Aaron. :P

Hi! I'm Coroice, though some people might know me better as Red (semi-professional fighting game forums lurker on Steam; don't worry, that's not all I do in life).
My first contact with the Rayman franchise was through Rayman 3 demo CDs back in 2003, and I've played (but not necessarily finished) every major game since then.
I came to these forums mostly to share info about said demo CDs, but I hope to discover lore elements or reverse-engineering tricks along the way, especially for R3!

Welcome again, Coroice! I hope you'll enjoy yourself here. :D

It's funny you mentioned reverse engineering and Rayman 3 as recently, our own PluM actually reverse engineered the Lums Race key generation algorithm and inverted it, allowing us, thanks to Steo's help with the console versions, to revive the Hall of Fame that had been broken for over a year after Ubi discontinued the web service we used with no prior warning.

More generally speaking, we have an active modding and utilities section that will hopefully be of some interest to you!
