Since there are some very bad problems caused by the game’s latest updates, I’ve decided to update Rock’n’Run and its Casual Mix! It was very important to do since the level’s final section couldn’t be beaten any more due to how the liquids kept rising and how Moskito kept chasing Rayman endlessly.
I’ve also applied many minor changes to make both versions more fair and more enjoyable and which I based on the criticism I received. It also includes some new contents related to version 1.0.0’s additions and bug fixes.

So I take it there's still a lot of bugs to fix? That should keep the developer busy! Anyway, I have updated all Rock’n’Run links to point to the full pack since it contains the latest versions of both maps. ;)

IMPORTANT: Coloured tings were changed in this version, so you need to open and resave your level in this version for them to work properly again!

Changelog:
-Added a way to make custom skins by editing the 'Custom_skin.png' and 'Custom_skin_fist.png' in the Custom-folder
-Added new ink tiles to the Picture City template
-Added the missing Dark Legacy tiles and more example pieces to the extra template
-Changed it so that coloured tings will remain collected even after death
-Changed the visuals of the water stopper

-Fixed 'sway up and down' not working for yellow and red water
-Fixed a random crash when changing the order of layers
-Fixed manually writing a new value for an object property not working
-Fixed missing collision for one platform in the Band Land template
-Fixed platforms with 'stop on block' not respawning properly
-Fixed Toy keys not working properly when doors were packed tight together
-Fixed a crash when falling into lava with mounts
-Fixed not being able to click and hold object property buttons
-Fixed a crash when grabbing rings with a custom skin
-Fixed floating glitch when climbing while on a ledge
-Fixed gendoors/killdoors not working if they were activated during the same frame
-Fixed a crash when riding plums with mounts

Yes and no. There are still some glitches to fix, but not that many (well, until Ryemanni releases a new major update :hap:). Though, in the case of Rock’n’Run, what was broken actually happened because some bugs were fixed! :mrgreen:
That’s why Moskito moved while he was originally stuck (however, I still don’t know what Ryemanni did exactly with Water Stoppers for them to behave strangely).

That’s great news! It seems much more content is still planned for the game!
The changes are looking great! Though, it seems they will cause many problems for some old levels… So, I’ll guess I have to update again all my previous levels… Man, I feel tired when thinking I have to do this again, release the updates on Mediafire… share the link here in a few posts, on two YouTube videos in both languages and on Discord… :grrrrrr: :oops2:
And that might not even be the last time I’ll need to do this! :confus:
Oh well, I’ll wait a bit since I get many new crashes, especially with keys.

At least, that’ll be perfect for The Spooky RayDungeon as I feared players losing lives would get very frustrated with having to collect all the Coloured Tings again (they are very important in this level since this is based on The Spooky Raymansion). Suddenly, I have a lot more faith in the enjoyability of this level! That also means I’ll be able to add more checkpoints! :D

That gray skin looks cool! Looks like a statue version of Rayman! :mryellow:
I’ll see if it’s possible to make a Noseless Rayman skin! I was waiting to see him as a playable skin since Redemption! Though, for some reason, it’s broken for me, even changing the color of a single pixel makes weird white cubes appear around Rayman.

Also, let me say it again louder for the people in the back, just in case: THE COLOURED TINGS IN SOME OLD LEVELS ARE NOW BROKEN, SO OPEN AND RESAVE THE LEVELS TO MAKE THEM WORK PROPERLY AGAIN!

EDIT: Here's version 1.1.1!
-Fixed a crash when reloading a custom skin

-Fixed custom skin showing the snes hands when you had a goldfist

-Fixed checkpoints showing the wrong head with custom skin

-Fixed a toy key related crash

-Fixed being able to drop off a ledge while shooting a rocket

This pack is awesome! And seeing all the things other people shared on Game Jolt and Discord show of much impressive (and hilarious :lol:) are some of the things we can do with skins now!
I finally figured out how it worked and I tried a few things with Photofilter like you did. Though, I haven’t done anything good yet.

It would be nice if we could get more slots so we don’t have to change the skin file all the time… I also wonder if we’ll get the same kind of editor for Bzzit, the Dinosaur and checkpoints.

Speaking of which, I found out another thing about Dark Rayman! I didn’t know he had mounts either! When you ride Bzzit, he’ll ride Dark Moskito as you would expect… But what I really didn’t know about is the fact there’s even a Dark Dinosaur in the game! I wonder if other mounts will get a skin selection later on…

The supreme character indeed… But we both know Tily is going to be remade first instead. :hap:

Every ranks better be replaced with Globox in all the possible shades of colours existing in the entire universe. :hap:

It was very good! I can tell you’re really improving! :D
Sure, it was hard, but the challenge was fair and creative and the level’s design looked great!

I forgot to take a screenshot, but I got everything and it took me about 15 minutes.

It also contains a playable prototype of my big horror level inspired by the Spooky Raymansion 1 and 2. The Spooky RayDungeon! Feel free to share your opinions so I may improve the level for its main release!
However, I must warn you it’s a very long level (it may take more than 30 minutes to beat it) and the number of secrets you find may completely change how the level will end. It’s also pretty challenging like The Spooky Raymansion and you start with only 1 HP (but you can increase it through several means). Take the time to explore and you’ll find many useful things hidden everywhere!

Here’s a version with no custom content (which I don’t particularly recommend as the atmosphere won’t be as good, but it’s not that bad, so pick whatever you prefer):

It was an excellent remix which I enjoyed a lot more than Pink Plant Woods (even though it was far harder :oops2: )! The changes were so insane and worked so well I sometimes even forgot I was playing a level from the original Rayman! It’s really well put together! :D
By the way, I had no idea you could use the Joe’s buoys this way with liquids swaying up and down! :shock: I learned something new thanks to you! :mrgreen:

Hm... Can you say which tiles in the picture come from Rayman Junior, I don't recognize them.

Yep, you won't find those anywhere in the original Rayman. If you check the image galleries in the world articles on RayWiki, you'll see examples of the other exclusive elements from the educational games. :)
