This second run went a lot better. Still missed an electron in the Port level and so I had to grab an extra one in the Mountain level later. Had a little trouble with the initial jump on Robot Skip and with getting through the escape section but it was still a lot better than my first run.

Yeah, SpeedBot did not pick jake's first run because it was validated at the same time as his second one (and therefore made obsolete immediately), but for the record, here it is:

This run was awful but I just finished it out to get a starting point. I had never played the last three levels of the game before so I was going into that blind. I had never tried robot skip before either so I was watching the wr run to see how he did it during the run lol. I also didn't know when to stop the timer so I let it go too long. My next run should go much better.

Well done indeed, now I look forward to the third one.

My first succesful recorded run, it was not too bad, though i made a lot of mistakes that i can improve upon in my next attempt.

Unfortunately, i accidentally reset my timer at the last part of the final level, though i went ahead and watched through the entire video and can say that my run ended 1h 21m 29s after pressing "New Game".
Correct me if i'm wrong though.

Yeah, most of the people who speedrun Rayman games are not part of the Rayman community, probably because they speedrun a lot of different games and don't have time to be active everywhere, so they'll end up missing on good news like this.

Never said that Globox was restricted, this isn't Rayman Origins, it's Globox Origins and I hate this run.

I feel that it's even more so for UbiArt games, but then again they don't, well, elicit unanimity within the community of older fans.

I could've had sub-hour, big run destroyer in No Turning Back that costed me a minute and three seconds.

Well done Koopsader, not sub-hour but still almost six minutes shorter than your previous run. The No Turning Back restart (funny contradiction here? ) isn't even noticeable in the splits.
