Well according to what I've seen from Cairnie, sweating uncontrollably is one of the effects, which in itself doesn't sound nice. I can only imagine the others would be hot flushes and dizziness, probably fever like stuff. It doesn't sound very pleasant.

Depends on the type of vaccine. When I signed up for a vaccine I got Moderna. I only ended up with drowsiness for a couple days and a slight headache after my first shot and almost no side-effects after the second shot. My cousin on the other hand got headaches after her shots (I think... ) and her vaccine was Pfizer.

The astrazeneca vaccine is by far the worst one for it. This is basically the cheaper one for countries who want to cheap out, and who knows what it will do to people long term.

After the jab, I was hit with a fever and dizziness the next day. Me and my brother put up with the symptoms for two days. Now we're as fit as a fiddle. We're waiting till summer for the second jab. A lot of anti-vaxxers are spreading misconceptions and misinformation that AZ is the "worst" or "dangerous". Which is total bullshit, no one, not even a person with one single braincell would believe that garbage. It's 1 out of million to die from what is called 'severe trombosis'. Trombosis is a thing, yes, but it's not life threatening as many nutjobs make it out to be. It's your body adapting so that it can stave off the virus in the future. Just take prescribed medicine if you're feeling like death, and you'll be fine within a week. You won't die.


A bit off-topic here, but it's also relevant
Where I live, and I assume in other parts of Europe as well, you need to tick in all the boxes in the questions form before making an appointment for a MRI scan, surgical operation, or in this case; the vaccine. In my form I mentioned I took Fraxiparine and Diclofenacnatrium Aurobindo (try saying that three times fast), these are post-surgery medication that I was taking after my knee muscles had been surgically repaired. (According to one of the doctors who operated on my knee, it was a very difficult procedure)

And you would know you have allergies beforehand. No hospital, clinic, or any public space would take risks that could jeopardize one's health.

Yeah, while it's indeed significantly cheaper than the mRNA vaccines, there's no particular reason to believe that it will cause any particular issues in the long term, as with most viral vector vaccines.

Well it's the one with the most complications of all if you were to survey the people who actually had different versions of the vaccine and hear their thoughts. That being said though, of course some people completely overreact to the stage where they mentioned blood clots. It's not going to kill anyone, it will just have temporary side effects. Nobody knows what any vaccine will do to people in the long run anyway, regardless as to whether it's for COVID or not, but the same can be said with anything, even drinking too much coffee all the time etc.

– It acts a bit strangely, constantly probing for a disk when none is present, meaning I have to unplug it to get a chance to actually insert one.
– A lot of my floppies turned out to be dead.
– With the confusion caused by those other two minuses, I thought the drive I initially tried it with was banjaxed, leading me to swap it for another one that was lying around the house; now I have a beige floppy drive in a black PC!
+ It worked well enough to copy my MS-DOS 6 floppies and get that OS running under QEMU (with KVM, so it's basically running on the native CPU)!
