Re: TTQ: Season 128 – dr_st
Is this another mini-game no one has played for more than 5 minutes total?
It is difficult at first, for sure, but it is my favorite. Also it's pretty much the only mini-game which plays like a normal Rayman 3 level.
Anyways, the answer is 6, but Elite Piranha gets the point for being the closest.

The difference about special hunters in Rayman designer is that they're throwing hammer rockets by shooting and they are don't fly in a straight line instead they're falling after get launched.

Please make sure to have only one answer per question. If the quizmaster says it's wrong and says you can answer again, then you can make another guess. The rules are on the first post of the first page if you want to learn more. I know this answer was for a question that was skipped already, but I just needed to point this out to you.

Balloons is pretty fun and I've played through it a few times, but I had indeed forgotten there were so many Green Gems!

Re: TTQ: Season 128 – dr_st
Well, the Rayman games that released for game boy advance are: Rayman (port of Rayman1995 for GBA), Rayman 3, Rayman hoodlums revenge and Rayman Raving Rabbids (GBA). And the main Rayman game in main series that Game Boy Advance Games follows is Rayman (1995), for example: port of Rayman 1995 GBA feels almost same like it's original version with ported levels, same characters and same gameplay. And also other GBA games that follows 2D gameplay style of Rayman 1995 are Rayman 3 and Rayman Raving Rabbids (GBA).
Re: TTQ: Season 128 – dr_st
Good, good! But your answer is missing one key element. You've listed correctly all 4 games. 3 of them are sidescrolling 2D platformers, that is correct. I will rephrase the question to make it more clear:
For each of the 4 GBA games - which main series game(s) do they mostly follow in terms of characters, levels, environments?
You can use the following table:
Since you got the bulk of the answer right, you may complete your answer.
Others may answer as well, of course.
For each of the 4 GBA games - which main series game(s) do they mostly follow in terms of characters, levels, environments?
You can use the following table:
Code: Select all
Game Boy Advance Title Main game(s) it's based on

Re: TTQ: Season 128 – dr_st
Rayman Advance = Rayman 1
Rayman 3 = Rayman 2 and Rayman 3
Rayman Hoodlum's Revenge = Rayman 3
Rayman Raving Rabbids = Rayman 1 environments and Rayman 2 characters
Rayman 3 = Rayman 2 and Rayman 3
Rayman Hoodlum's Revenge = Rayman 3
Rayman Raving Rabbids = Rayman 1 environments and Rayman 2 characters
Re: TTQ: Season 128 – dr_st
I'll take lumgum's answer - it is pretty much what I'd answer.
I was always a bit fascinated how R3 for GBA is like 95% R2, and only 5% R3. It's Hoodlums' Revenge that the actual Rayman 3 spinoff.
In regards to RRR, I would say that it also has elements from R3 (the costumes which are like combat fatigues), and of course the Rabbids (but I did say 'main series', which most folks don't consider the Rabbids to be a part of).

Re: TTQ: Season 128 – dr_st
Rayman revolution shooting mini game where rayman fights Ly.
Re: TTQ: Season 128 – dr_st
Yes!
Except you don't fight Ly in this game, but some minor enemies, and then Foutch as the boss. Still, seeing as there is only one mini-game that fits the rest of your description, I conclude you meant the right one. The name of the game is Ray-Type Challenge, by the way.

Re: TTQ: Season 128 – dr_st
I remembered some of the others that did, but not this one. Too bad!
Re: TTQ: Season 128 – dr_st
The mecha bird in The Reveal? I don't remember fighting it in Legends, at least.
Re: TTQ: Season 128 – dr_st
Correct!
All Origins bosses except the two faced in The Reveal return in Back to Origins. However, Mecha Carnivora is also featured in Fiesta Run, making the Mecha Mockingbird the only one that fits this question.
