One thing that Rabbids and Incrediballs have in common is that they're apparently carnivores, despite looking more like they should be herbivores (particularly the Rabbids)

Ah you're right, you do have to feed Incrediballs some unidentifiable chicken-like creatures' legs...or maybe it's just normal KFC.

I sorta figured Rabbids ate whatever crossed their line of sight thanks to Bunnies Like To Stuff Themselves, haha. Never thought them to be plain herbivores, though, cause that's not how Rayman's world works.

Are you sure?
Rayman is so kind that has even offered them an apple and a sausage but they ignored them and imprisoned him instead :(

Good point… Even Rayman guessed they were carnivorous in his initial encounter with them! They do eat sausages on other occasions, so it's definitely true.

I think the fact that they eat meat represents how crazed they have become, like that story I read a few years ago about hamsters in France eating maize who turned into deranged cannibals…

For the Incrediballs, yeah, I guess it's KFC. Strange choice of sprite imo, but then I'm a vegetarian…

I tried it for a minute or so and I just had no idea what I was doing.

Ah, that Incrediballs game. It was laggy, I had no idea what I was doing, and I lost interest after a few seconds even before I had won. Great few minutes of my life though!

Your post reminds me, I wonder are there accents where "Incrediball" and "incredible" actually sound similar? :P

Hm, who knows actually? Clearly I made a bad pun there! :P

But yeah, I really had no idea what was going on when I played

No, it's a perfectly fine pun :P

I play in French, so I have a kind of hybrid pronunciation, which I would IPA out if it weren't Record Day :fou:

Also, I’m so tired of seeing how it’s always the same thing over and over again with Ubisoft these days… Can we finally get a *new* game and not another cheap title that recycles everything from Origins/Legends and that’s built like a mobile game?
What I really loved about past Rayman games is how different they could get while keeping most of the core ideas. Seems it’s too much to ask for since 2011 and especially since 2013…

Jinkies, that's quite a negative RD post!

Dunno, I guess there's not much money in it?

Heh, sorry, I guess the salt of waiting for a 3D sequel since 2003 and something refreshing for a decade is still getting to my brain from time to time. :oops2:
Now here’s a positive remark for the fabulous magic of RD :noel: : I’m really happy to see what the community has been doing with Rayman lately! Rayman Redemption and ReDesigner in particular are the most fun I had with Rayman since so many years!

Yeah, they're great! Pity Ryemanni didn't open-source them though – it's just repeating the mistakes of Ubisoft really…

Oh no, now I'm gone negative!

So much negativity! :pascontent: Come on, I didn’t log off Twitter an hour ago to see this! :hap:

Jokes aside, I’m definitely curious to see what the fans will achieve in the following years! I’ve seen that there are plenty of projects that are starting to burgeon.
Ryemanni has at least left a good impact on the community and I’ve seen a few people mentioning they’ve been inspired by his work to try to do their own thing, just like Ryemanni himself was inspired by Revenge of the Dark.

I've been twitter-free a lot longer than an hour :hap:

Revenge of the Dark has passed the decade-in-development mark actually, hasn't it?

Pretty sure it did! I still don’t know if it’ll ever come out and I’m not too interested in it anymore, but that’s still very inspiring to see! I’m really amazed at how much dedication Adsolution has poured into this project.
