I will need explanatory steps to patch my DOS-BOX mac version with the TPLS.
Like everything step by step with download links because in your github i am confused with so many instructions and paths..

Re: Rayman 1 per-level soundtrack implemented within DOSBox
OK, firstly, you don't need to "patch" anything to use the TSR. You just need to download the files and edit your Dosbox config file. Do you know where that file is, and what's in it right now?
Re: Rayman 1 per-level soundtrack implemented within DOSBox
first, how your tsr knows the .cue that has the game? , and why i need to download so many files from many sources? it´s extremely hard!!
and now i get this error
and now i get this error
Re: Rayman 1 per-level soundtrack implemented within DOSBox
the program dont knows where´s the rayman cue, its in c local directory, but it just dont detects it, and it fails in instalation, with build.bat fails and with install.bat also fails

Re: Rayman 1 per-level soundtrack implemented within DOSBox
You're overcomplicating matters by trying to compile it yourself. Just show me your Dosbox config file…
Re: Rayman 1 per-level soundtrack implemented within DOSBox
I think it does not have the fault

Re: Rayman 1 per-level soundtrack implemented within DOSBox
Yeah, looks like you've done the right thing there so far.
So where is your RAYMAN.EXE located? You should be able to copy TPLSTSR3.EXE and TPLSWRAP.EXE from the mounted D drive into that folder. You'll also need CWSDPMI.EXE, which you can download from one of the links on the GitHub page. Then you just run TPLSWRAP.EXE instead of RAYMAN.EXE

Re: Rayman 1 per-level soundtrack implemented within DOSBox
So you run it from the "disc"? Does that even work? So then what's in your Rayman folder, just save files?
Basically, the TSR needs the game installed to work, not running from its own CD. If you run INSTALL.BAT from your Rayman cue, and choose an Extended Install (with video if applicable), then it'll copy it into your mounted C drive. Once you've done that, then you can also use the INSTALL.BAT from the TPLS cue. But you'll still need to get CWSDPMI separately.

Re: Rayman 1 per-level soundtrack implemented within DOSBox
I NOW ALREADY INSTALLED IT IN extended install, I USED YOUR INSTALL.BAT
IT DID NOT COPY WELL, I RUNNED RAYMAN FROM THE TPLSWRAP.EXE AND IT DID NOTHING, AND THEN I RUNNED TPLSTSR3.EXE AND IT STILL FAILED, AND THEN I STARTED RAYMAN AND THE TPLS DID NOT WORK, whyyyyyy what i am doing wrong, i already did everystep, i would like a mac version of the tpls aaahhhhhhh (it´s not your fault, is mine, maybe it´s too hard to me to use dos box and his *patches* but anyway no tpls for me)

Re: Rayman 1 per-level soundtrack implemented within DOSBox
At this point, if you've installed everything to a local folder, it sounds like all you need is to put CWSDPMI.EXE in the same folder as the other EXEs and it should work for you!
Re: Rayman 1 per-level soundtrack implemented within DOSBox
i was happy when this appeared, but when i tried to run TPLSWRAP.EXE or RAYMAN.BAT (i edited rayman.bat so it dont checks the d: drive) IT FAILED AGAIN AND NOW IT DONT RUNS RAYMAN
i tried mounting tplswrap3.cue into the e drive, so the install.bat can change the d drive mounted with rayman, and my rayman copy still don´t runs without cd rom

Re: Rayman 1 per-level soundtrack implemented within DOSBox
Oh right, you're on the IT-SP-DU version.
If you privately send me a copy of your RAYMAN.EXE, I can try to add support for that version. Might take me a few days though...

Re: Rayman 1 per-level soundtrack implemented within DOSBox
Thank you! Try replacing TPLSTSR3.EXE with this new version, hopefully it'll work… (The cutscenes mightn't be the right language, but that's minor I'd say!)

Re: Rayman 1 per-level soundtrack implemented within DOSBox
What's happening now, same error as before?
Re: Rayman 1 per-level soundtrack implemented within DOSBox
Dunno why it's not working for DavidSosa; for me the attached version of TPLSSTR3 worked immediately with IT-SP-DU v1.20.
Here a sample RAYTPLS.BAT, assuming that DOSBox is in C:\DOSBOX, that directory C:\DOSBOX\_C is mapped as C: inside DOSBox, that Rayman is installed in C:\DOSBOX\_C\RAYMAN, and that TPLSSTR3.CUE, TPLSTSR3.BIN, TPLSTSR3.EXE, TPLSWRAP.EXE and CWSDPMI.EXE are all copied into the Rayman directory:

Re: Rayman 1 per-level soundtrack implemented within DOSBox
yeaaaaaaahhhhhhhh
it finally works using your .bat (editing some things, it can´t play two tracks at the same time like the tpls from rcp, but anyways)

Re: Rayman 1 per-level soundtrack implemented within DOSBox
Yes, indeed it can't, since it's using MSCDEX to play CD audio, which by definition can only do one track at a time. It's one of the tradeoffs noted in the table on the GitHub page.
Anyway, I'm glad you got it working!
Now I just have to release this new version properly
