Awesome stuff again! Animating them might be another pair of hands, but you should be able to get some advice from the makers of Polokurse.

Thanks for the comments. Here is my first attempt to make a sprite move, it is supposed to be the dark lum of a cagoulette.

Not at the moment.

Edit: I also want to share this sketches that I wanted to do last year. I have to mention, these enemies are supposed to appear in scary levels/places, so I went out of my way to make them look scary or miserable.

Very nice, what's the backstory for the one with the Teensie?

I don't know which one you're talking about, so I'll explain both:

1. About the cyclops with a Teensie head in one of its arms and bunny ears in one of its shoulders: it is unknown how it looked like originally, but after eating other creatures and inhabitants of Rayman's world, it started to grow and change, however some remains of its victims are still visible on its body. Sometimes it finds scraps of metal and attaches them to its body to cover certain areas or to become stronger.

2. About the Mini Jano holding a Teensie like a puppet: the Mini Jano offered him a lot of treasure in exchange for a small fraction of his soul, but he was lying and took all of it and stored it in a tombstone, the Teensie's body still remains but it is just a peon/puppet that follows orders. When the tombstone accumulates more souls, you can hear different voices that plead for help if you get really close to it, I got this idea from a game named Vexx that has a similar object.

Thanks for the comment! Here is another animated sprite where I tried to make the hair of a cagoulette move.

I've always been convinced that Rayman's universe had a potential for dark stories, I can see I'm not the only one!

There is a lot of potential, specially considering that despite the existence of creatures like Eig, the Zombie Chicken or other dark creatures, Polokus decided to put a select number of monsters in another dimention and put his first nightmare in charge of guarding the entrance. In my headcanon, Rayman didn't visit the place where Polokus' most terrible nightmares are hidden, Jano just put him through a test (maybe in his personal dimention) and decided to help Rayman after he gave the right answer. If there is a fanfic/comic/fangame about what would happen if Jano is killed and the most powerful nightmares created by Polokus come out... things can get very dark.

Btw, I really liked Razorbeard's Polokurse desing, so I decided to make a sprite of him. Initially it was going to be a gif, but I couldn't get the result I wanted in the end.

My take on a Henchgirl 1000 and a drawing of Barbara if she was the daughter of Grogh from Tonic Trouble, got the idea from someone in the headcanons thread.

Thanks for the comment! Here are more enemies intended for scary areas (mixed with some random stuff). Some of them were inspired by Rayman 1 enemies.

Very creative stuff! I can see one that looks like it was inspired by one of the space pirates?

Thanks for the comment! Yes, you're right, one of them is based on the head of the bomb pirate. A variation of the flower tentacle can be seen in the left side (as a leg for one of the enemies) and the creature in the upper right corner was inspired by Mr Sax.
