Yeah sorta like a brother and sister thing is what I thought of as well. A silly adventure with sibling arguments and such.

are you thinking add levels like Energy Sector and Music Sector?
also, I thinking that if you don't planning add the Cooperative mode, the hud should be change, looks little empty with only the Player 1 part.

Yes, the levels like seen in some screenshots, like the forest level, cave level, and skops boss (and some more mentioned in game design bible), some early Rayman 1 levels in magazines I would recreate. If the HUD bar looks empty, I will try to do filling with some power up icons, etc.

After the SNES Prototype recreation is done, I'll move on to the Rayman 2 prototype, which would be a challenging idea since all sprites use 3D models... I'll look for some modelers next time to recreate them. Also I'm setting my SNES project for Haitus for a while to continue working on it later.

I´m very sorry, but i am also developing the 2D Rayman 2 prototype fangame, way before than you.

But no problem, you can change your 2D Rayman 2 name, there can´t be 2 Raymans 2 2D fangames, or yeah?

Rayman: Mechanical Madness it is, but for the SNES game this'll be called Rayman Hereitscool.

Introducing the Fist Charge meter, when the gauge is full, Rayman's fist turn gold! But it's just in the progress though, hopefully I gonna back to work very soon...

Also the center there should be a power-up or target item acquired, the magic fist power up orb increases the POWER bar and some others do. You need to fill the gauge for Raystorm power up to instantly destroy all enemies on screen (it also turns the fist gold as well). Also Raystorm is the special power up that is obtained once the POWER bar is full, it kills all enemies on screen (except for stronger enemies and bosses, but also reduces the golden fist to normal).

Nice to see progress on this, I'll definitely try to be one of the first to try this out when it gets here. Idk what a Raystorm is but it sounds awesome! :mryellow:
I like the HUD too, it's very sharp and clean! I love Rayman 1 on the GBC which has a very similar HUD so it's just something I'm used to.

Hello, I've remade the HUD and power up orbs!

The Orbs:
- Magic Fist: simple power
- Shield Power: Circling spheres
- Vanish (eyes): Invisibility
- Ball: Bounces and destroys enemies
- Storm: Kills all on-screen enemies (requires POWER bar filled to full).

I had a dream once, where a SNES Rayman prototype level that includes tentacles on the floor, probably proof-of-concept of a new level, tiles are kinda hard to recolor. These tentacles suppose to slow down Rayman I guess.
