i played through the level 1 Rayman Junior yesterday on a whim, made me realise how I much I dislike Art Alley because of how slow travelling on the easel is. And because of all the obstacles that somehow caused me to flop multiple times. :lol:

May go for the other levels later.

I have been playing Spryo 3 lately. I am on the last hub world. I actually started months ago in last year but started playing it again. My disc doesn't work completely. The music sometimes stutters or even stops playing. Sometimes, it just plays the same sound over and over again. :oops2:

Oh yeah, there's a group of antitoons right before the end of the first section that can really screw you over even if you're quite experienced! I still love it though, mainly for nostalgia :hap:

Interestingly enough, the other Picture City level (the numbers one) is one of my favorite levels in the game! And no I'm not saying that due to how short it is compared to every other level.... :D

Thinking of starting to play Rayman Revolution later today.

Yeah, I like that one too. So much that I once made a parody of it where you're jumping on cats :fou:

I'm on Easter holidays, so I'm gonna pick up something soon for sure. I'm thinking The Ball and Portal 2, both of which I played for the first time 11 years ago, and Black Mesa, for which I've installed some Workshop addons that I have yet to try, and also Rayman 1 since I'm working on a new version of the TPLS TSR. The question is, how much of this can I actually get through in the next seven days? :fou:

Side scrolling, Bad Rayman, and education? This sounds like highly entertaining torture and I think I'd be down for it. :lol:

Finished level 2 of Rayman Brain Games, Rayman Revolution, and Rayman Rush recently (yeah I'm going through a Rayman phase again lately hehe). I wish I had played through Rush first before I had played M some time ago. Currently going through level 3 of Rayman Brain Games, but I think my feelings on Art Alley will still remain the same. :mrgreen:

I did like Art Alley a lot actually, maybe due its novelties such as the palette and the ink buckets.

The art palette is the reason I like Art Alley actually! I just don't like how slow the platform moves at times, though I guess I could possibly say the same about the flying saucer level too.....

Anyways, I finished R3 recently and started on Rayman Hoodlums' Revenge (yes, that game!) yesterday.

I wish I could play it. I ordered it months ago but I wasn't able to play much of it and DS is broken. I did play a little, though.

Don't worry, I turned out fine. ;)
The curious thing is, I can't seem to find the values for 1 stamp or 2 stamps for Melee Mayhem...I wonder if it's impossible to get a score less than 10000 points. :thinking:

My next game I'm thinking either Rayman Origins on 3DS or Rayman Raving Rabbids for GBA.

Reading this, I realize the wiki only gives one value for Murfy stamps, I wonder what it corresponds to. :|

I believe the values on the wiki only reflect the score required to get all 3 murfy stamps in each level, though there's a threshold for getting 1 and 2 stamps too.
For example, Clearleaf Forest has the following requirements:
1 stamp -> 5000 points
2 stamps -> 9000 points
3 stamps -> 14000 points

Thanks, we must update the template to reflect this. I understand you're writing down the values for all stamps, right?

Yeah, I've written down most of the values. I'm still missing a couple though so I'm going to play through the game a few more times to get the rest of them. Dunno what I'll do about Melee Mayhem though... :thinking:

I suppose using a memory editor or checking the game files is your best bet if you can't possibly get a low enough score.

I'm still playing BanG Dream Girls Band Party for this time, back in the past month, the version got delayed and stuck in 4.10. The special birthday just arrived but it was skipped though. This is sometimes called Rerun.

I will try my best for playing bandori in the future, even i had played Japanese and Taiwan server.

I've never tried either method but I could give those a shot. Might take me some time though but I'll see what I can do when I start playing the game again.

The stamp scores are stored in the RHR GBA ROM as 3 consecutive unsigned 16-bit integers, little endian, starting from address 0xE92EC, with an offset of 40 bytes (probably part of a 40-byte struct describing various other level data).

Here is the raw dump of just the stamp score data (I got rid of everything in between):

Code: Select all

B8 0B 88 13 40 1F --- 88 13 28 23 B0 36 --- 58 1B B0 36 38 4A --- 00 00 00 00 00 00
88 13 F8 2A 80 3E --- F8 2A 50 46 90 65 --- 00 00 00 00 00 00 --- 58 1B E0 2E 08 52
10 27 F0 55 30 75 --- 40 1F 80 3E D8 59 --- E0 2E 90 65 10 A4 --- 00 00 00 00 00 00
E0 2E 90 65 10 A4 --- 10 27 F0 55 E8 80 --- 00 00 00 00 00 00 --- E0 2E 50 46 60 6D
E0 2E 50 46 60 6D --- F8 2A 80 3E 90 65 --- E0 2E 50 46 60 6D --- 10 27 98 3A F0 55
Running it through this online hex converter gives the following decimal values:

Code: Select all

3000 5000 8000    --- 5000 9000 14000   --- 7000 14000 19000  --- 0 0 0
5000 11000 16000  --- 11000 18000 26000 --- 0 0 0             --- 7000 12000 21000
10000 22000 30000 --- 8000 16000 23000  --- 12000 26000 42000 --- 0 0 0
12000 26000 42000 --- 10000 22000 33000 --- 0 0 0             --- 12000 18000 28000
12000 18000 28000 --- 11000 16000 26000 --- 12000 18000 28000 --- 10000 15000 22000
Cross-referencing from the values currently on the wiki (which I assume to be correct for 3 stamps), I guess the order of levels this corresponds to:

The Fairy Council --- Clearleaf Forest --- Clearleaf Falls --- The Infernal Machine
Dungeon of Murk --- Bog of Murk --- Begoniax Bayou --- Rivers of Murk
Hoodlum Moor --- Land of the Livid Dead --- Menhirs of Power --- Pit of Endless Fire
Clouds of Peril --- Heart of the World --- Reflux's Lair --- Scalding Cascade
Vertiginous Riddle --- Mélée Mayhem --- Cloudy Cache --- Sulphurous Sea
