Re: Rayman himself
It’s like they had to save face for the fact that Ubisoft has forgotten that Rayman existed

Re: Rayman himself
Does Ubisoft and/or Michel Ancel legally own Rayman? I heard they both own him but I'm not sure if that's true.

Re: Rayman himself
Ubisoft owns Rayman, and they want to make sure it stays that way. That's the banal reason behind filings like this: viewtopic.php?t=27526

Re: Rayman himself
I could swear I read an old article about Rayman's age somewhere. And I remember this, because this was the first 'official' (probably cut content, but still!) piece of canon age I have ever seen (aside from Jimmy, the precursor to Rayman, who was supposed to be 10 in 1995, which would make Jimmy-not-Rayman 37 now).
Alas, I can't find it anymore...

Re: Rayman himself
I used to think he was two, based on the number of candles on the cake in the Candy Château splash screen
Then in Rayman Legends he's obviously over 100

Re: Rayman himself
Ah yes, he slept a hundred years, and the First King (do we know if he is the same as from Rayman 2, actually? Or does everyone just assume this?) is all rotten and old.
Still! There was >something<, somewhere!

Re: Rayman himself
Is the First King assumed to be from Rayman 2? I thought he was supposed to be from a long-gone era, well before Rayman 2

Re: Rayman himself
Over 100, but that's if you consider Legends canon.
